04 Dec Corey DeAngelis & Q and Ace Live on Stereo
Show Summary
Adam welcomes Corey DeAngelis for a 1-on-1 interview about the idea of school choice. Adam chats with him about why this is a good thing for disadvantaged families, and they go on to discuss public school actually being ‘government schools’, the pushback against charter schools, and why more money does not equal more education. They also discuss thoughts on schools being shut down for most of 2020, what will happen once Biden takes over, and the pros and cons of homeschooling. Later, Adam and Corey chat about how progressive policies have paved the way for more conservative thought, also analyze how COVID-19 has really shaken things up. Before hanging up, the guys talk about the impact a strong family unit has, busting the myth that school choice defunds public schools, and the latest with LeBron James’ ‘I Promise’ school.
At the top of Part 2 of today’s podcast, Adam tells the audience about a staff poll regarding having COVID over Herpes, and also recalls his first time doing Letterman. After that, Adam takes questions over the Stereo app about the return of Jo Koy, thoughts on President Trump being a liar, rock stars vs. pro athletes, Adam’s relationship with his dad, the new Corvette, and the podcast’s daily schedule. As the show wraps up, Adam and Chris talk about enjoying success, and Adam takes a couple more questions about whether or not he’ll get the COVID vaccine, the problems with distance learning, class action lawsuits for shutting down restaurants, and making the 7th greatest burger in the world.
