Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam shares his love for Clay Aiken. He then goes on a jag about listening to the boss, and his time competing on Celebrity Apprentice. In complete contrast, Adam laughs at the mess that is Huell Howser at the Baghdad Café. Clay Aiken calls in next, and the guys talk about his upcoming show with Ruben Studdard. The guys chat further about their time together on Celebrity Apprentice, and Clay talks about growing up gay in the South. Before the break, the guys discuss women who would never want to sleep with Adam, and everyone laughs at the rest of the Baghdad Café clips.
Seggie and Tyler of Straight No Chaser are in studio next, and the guys listen to a sample of their a cappella harmonizing. Adam asks them about the dynamics of the group, the therapy derived from singing, and why the nation loves a cappella music. They also talk about how their group became so popular, and the rest of the group joins the studio to sing ‘The 12 Rants of Christmas’.
Gina begins today’s news talking about the Little Mermaid song ‘Kiss The Girl’ now being slammed for being too misogynistic. She also gives an update on the Kareem Hunt story, Pete Davidson’s recovery from the Ariana Grande breakup, and Eddie Murphy welcoming his 10th child. As the show wraps up, the guys watch a clip of the highest paid YouTube star of 2018, and talk about the Top 5 Holiday Toys of the season.
