Show Summary

Adam, Bryan and Gina open today’s show talking about how everyone wants to be able to work from home and get paid, especially teachers. They go on to discuss how we define certain jobs as ‘essential’, as well as opinions that Adam has modified over his lifetime. They also watch a clip about the transition of power from Trump to Biden, and talk with a caller about the world of chess. Later, Josh Todd and Stevie D of Buckcherry join the show, and Adam can’t help but notice the kids doing online schooling in the background. The guys then talk about their upcoming live virtual concert, performing at socially distanced venues, and how their lives have changed since the lockdowns. Before the break, everyone discusses the delicate balance of egos in Rock N Roll.

The music talk continues in Part 2 of today’s podcast. Joe Bouchard, formerly of Blue Oyster Cult, joins the pod to talk with the gang about the band’s legacy. They discuss the origins of the band’s name, why they hated touring with The Byrds, and the longevity of the classic track ‘Don’t Fear The Reaper’. Later, Gina reads news stories about diversifying reality TV casts, and the latest round of impressive auction items. As the show wraps up, the guys have a conversation about nostalgia.
