Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam talks about how hard it is to find a good producer, and the importance of putting in your time and working for free. They also talk about Gloria Allred being inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame, and the difficult process of enforcing easily enforceable rules. Adam then takes a call from another house-building comedian to talk about gambling.
Brian Grazer is in studio next, and Adam compliments him on his chutzpah and ability to follow his curiosity. The guys also talk about their shared history growing up in the valley, and how to instill a motor in other people. Brian then discusses battling his dyslexia to properly communicate with people, his personal interview project, relationship with production partner Jeffrey Malinovitz and how he made his way through the film industry. Later Brian talks about his relationship with producing partner Ron Howard, and the guys play a round of Made Up Movie.
Gina begins today’s news talking about Dave Chappelle’s new comedy special. They also talk about the SAT’s dropping the planned ‘adversity score’, Popeye’s new chicken sandwich, and Brian’s experiences working with actor Tom Hulce. As the show wraps up, the guys react to stories about China’s flagship Costco getting totally mobbed, and why Mario Andretti got upset watching ‘Rush’.
