Brad Williams + Ryan Long

Brad Williams + Ryan Long

Show Summary

Adam welcomes Brad Williams to the podcast at the top of the show. Brad tells the gang about his new standup gig with Cirque du Soleil, and the guys go on to chat about what Brad is expecting when he moves to Las Vegas for the summer. They also talk about mask hypocrisy on flights, what Adam learned about Andy Warhol, and whether or not airports are enforcing service animal rules. Later, the guys learn about the life and death of actress Jean Harlow, and Adam introduces Brad Williams and ‘Ted Koppel’ to the majesty of Bobby Hollander. Before the break, Minnesota Mom calls in to complain about ‘The Personal Touch’, and another fan calls in to share his love.

Ryan Long is in studio at the top of Part 2, and they talk about Ryan’s viral video success, as well as his early days playing in a ska band. They also discuss how Ryan got into the world of standup comedy, the story of a Seattle woman who was brutally pushed down a flight of stairs by a homeless person, and Ryan’s experiences growing up in Canada. Later they discuss wokeness and apology culture, and Gina reads news stories about a vicious dog attack, and CA gas prices continuing to rise. In the last part of the show, Adam talks about getting pulled over back in the day, and Gina reads a few more stories about Daylight Savings Time perhaps becoming permanent, Tom Brady’s un-retirement, and director Jane Campion’s apology.
