Show Summary
At the top of the show, the guys joke about Dawson running late for today’s pod. Gina then gives a recap of her Bachelorette Party, which leads to a larger conversation about crazy friends and strippers. Adam also talks about hanging out with Mike August’s parents while performing in Raleigh, and they go on to discuss a fantastic Italian restaurant in Venice, and an auction for Captain Stubing’s Love Boat jacket. Later, Chris talks about getting yelled at on the flight home, and the guys share some more stories from the road. Before the break, the guys take some listener calls.
Author Brad Thor returns to the podcast at the top of Part 2. Adam asks him about surviving the time he spent in Afghanistan shadowing a special forces unit, as well as the experience of optioning his books into movies. Later, Bryan asks Brad about his time at USC, and Brad talks about his path to becoming a published novelist. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about COVID’s link to unreliable air travel, Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space flight, Jerry O’Connell joining ‘The Talk’, Megan Thee Stallion on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, thoughts on using the vaccine to microchip the population, and the first active NHL player to come out as gay.
