Adam opens the show with Bryan and Gina in studio. The gang makes a correction to some of their music talk from last week, and Adam recalls exciting announcers from his youth. Adam then shares a frustrating clip from Maxine Waters, as well as another Great Magnet moment from this past week. The guys also take a fan phone call about growing up with John Popper, which leads to a conversation about delayed gratification, and a clip from ‘Adam Carolla Is Unprepared’. Later, Adam discusses how improv relates to being a decent conversationalist, and how his family growing up had none of those qualities.
After listening to a ‘Great Moment In Local News’, the guys talk further about people being offended over nothing. After that, the guys play a round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game. Gina then reads news stories about Wendy Williams’ divorce, a sex trafficking ring in Minnesota, and the city of Chicago suing Jussie Smollett. Other stories include two hikers found after being missing for 5 days, and an on-stage death from a comedian overseas. As the show wraps up, Gina reads one last story about JFK’s last known autograph going up for auction, and Adam gives an update on his Carroll Shelby doc. Stick around for the first Good Sports of the week!
