Adam opens the show with Matt Atchity in studio. The guys then talk about Gina’s Mensa card, Bryan’s attempts to avoid the traffic from Joe Biden being in LA, and the time Adam’s buddy Ray locked him in a dryer. Adam also takes a call from Martin Short, and talks about how respected he is amongst his peers in the industry. Adam then asks Martin about Jiminy Glick, Steve Martin, and cast reunions for SCTV. Before heading out, Martin lists off some hilarious alternate titles for his new book. Later, Adam takes fan phone calls about rude pedestrians, participation trophies, and how much money to put into a beloved old vehicle. Before the break, Matt Atchity hosts a boxing-themed round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game.
Brad Thor is in next, and Adam chats with him about the success of all of his books. Brad also talks about controlling the production process when adapting his books into feature films. Gina then begins the news with stories about more legal woes for Bill Cosby, and Judd Apatow’s return to standup comedy. They also talk about Corey Feldman’s bizarre live performance, the potential prison sentence for the gyrocopter pilot, and a guy who was both hit by lightening and won the Lottery. As the show wraps up, Adam delivers another epic rant about why the lotto should be outlawed.
