At the top of the show, the guys talk about Denis Leary’s early career, including the film where Adam crossed paths with him back when he was a stand-in. Adam also talks about getting tickets to an upcoming World Series game, messing with his barber, and people with weird obsessions. Later, Adam plays a clip from Bill Maher, and he talks with callers about dumpster diving, and parking prices.
Denis Leary calls in next, and Adam talks with him about their shared love of the actress Diane Farr. Adam tells Denis about being a stand-in on the set of Judgment Night in 1992, and Denis tells some behind-the-scenes stories from the film. Denis then talks about his first book in almost a decade, and his dad’s way of defining himself as an American. Before the break, Adam takes one more fan phone call about Billy Bush, and former NHL’er Sean Avery calls in today’s Good Sports.
Up next, Clay Travis of ‘Outkick the Coverage’ talks to Adam about how politics is bleeding into sports, and the problems with letting girls into the Boy Scouts. They also discuss trying to keep your kid from being a wimp, and how the NFL ratings have been affected. As the show wraps up, Adam and Clay discuss how the media is adding to the problem.
