At the top of the show, Adam gives a recap of his race weekend at the Long Beach Grand Prix, including some surprises after qualifying, some of the accidents that occurred during the race, and problems with the video gear. Adam then recalls a $10,000 model plane he had commissioned, and gives an update on reaching his weight goal. Later, the group talks about the problem with dependence, and Bald Bryan reviews another Chris Bell documentary called ‘Trophy Kids’ for this week’s Baldywood. Before the break, Adam brings Sonny in to talk about overbearing parents, and his perspective on the weekend’s race.
Chris and Mark Bell are in studio next, and Adam talks with them about their new documentary, ‘Prescription Thugs’. The guys talk about the aftermath of addiction, and why young boys essentially grow up with body image issues much in the same way women do. Chris and Mark also talk about some of the crazy things they saw while making the film, and whether or not drug companies are glad that people are addicted to their product. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about the latest from the Democratic side of the presidential race, the future of AC/DC, and the announcement of a classic rock mega concert this fall. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about a news stories involving Starbucks that Adam thinks no one should be burdened with.
