Adam opens the show discussing his recent visit to the Family Guy studios to do a voiceover for their new video game. He also talks about why he doesn’t like going on vacation, and chats with his buddy Ray about sneaking over the neighbor’s fence to cool off in their pool. Adam and Ray then answer a couple home improvement questions, including one from Alison. Captain Dale Dye enters the studio next, and talks briefly about getting into the radio biz after the first Gulf War. Adam also asks him about being a combat consultant for actors in war movies, and which celebrity was the biggest weenie. Later, Dale tells his own story of enlisting in the Marines, fighting in three tours of Vietnam, and coping with the PTSD that followed. Alison starts up the news discussing the two-time world’s fastest texter. They also talk about a girl who claimed her father water-boarded her in the sink. The last news story is about the American judo fighter who was disqualified from the Olympics, and the guys wrap the show discussing which Olympic events they’d like to see back in the spotlight.
