Show Summary
At the top of the pod, Adam rants about the overplayed Wham! song ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’. They also review the apology from the Jeopardy contestant accused of being a white supremacist, and go on to discuss the similarity between working out and working out your comedy routine. Gina then reads news stories about a possible Pfizer vaccine for kids, Michael Jackson’s estate, updates on Kevin Spacey, Caitlyn Jenner’s first political ad, and Willow Smith’s polyamory announcement.
Adam chats one-on-one with Bill O’Reilly in Part 2 of today’s podcast. The guys begin by discussing what is now the 10th book in his ‘Killing’ series, about how the mob has been such a destructive force in America. Adam then asks Bill about the process for coming up with each book’s subject, and the guys dive into stories about rigged boxing events, how the mob first got underway, and how organized crime runs in the present day. Later, the guys talk about what Biden is getting wrong, the truth about Jimmy Hoffa, and the birth of Las Vegas. Adam also asks for more details about the life of Sonny Liston, and the guys discuss the mob’s influence on the music and movie industries. As the show wraps up, the guys analyze how our permissive society is allowing the mob to thrive to this day.
