Show Summary
Adam gives an update to the Centurion lounge bar controversy before getting into Century City Mall robbery. The gang takes listener calls from an airline pilot who has information about the recent delays and cancellations and a 7-year-old who has an important question about Buzz Lightyear. Author Brad Thor comes on the show to talk about his latest thriller, ‘Rising Tiger’ and gives his insights on the current political climate, US China relations, Vladimir Putin, and more.
Comedian Bassem Youssef comes in the studio to talk about introducing Jon Stewart when he was awarded the ‘Mark Twain Prize for American Humor’ and how ‘The Daily Show’ was an inspiration for himself as well as international audiences. Bassem explains how being vegan doesn’t mean he judges others and how younger generations are not used to being unseen. Gina Grad reports the news of today including: Bill Cosby talking about getting out of prison, Johnny Depp not returning to the Pirate’s franchise, Lifetime announcing a new movie about the Depp/Heard trial, and Dolly Patron putting her tour bus up on Airbnb.
