Show Summary
Adam opens the show talking to Bryan and Gina about his horrific travel woes last night, including Mike August getting into a fight, and not arriving in LA until 3 in the morning. Bryan and Gina discuss their own crazy travel odysseys, but the gang all agrees the visit to Kentucky was amazing. Later, Adam takes fan phone calls about blind dates, and serving on a Mormon mission in Bolivia, followed by sharing a story about his co-producer Nate, and a film shoot with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. Before the break, the guys talk about Lottery winners and happiness.
Ari Shaffir is in studio next, and Adam talks with him about his hilarious Netflix special, as well as his current comedy tour. Adam asks Ari about performing with Shane Gillis (the guy recently fired from SNL), and Ari asks Adam for his thoughts on free speech. They also talk about Artie Lang’s sobriety, and Caitlyn Jenner’s surgery.
Gina then begins today’s news with stories about the ratings for this past weekend’s Primetime Emmy Awards, as well as the winners from the big night. Other stories include an update on Kevin Hart’s accident, a warrant for Andy Dick’s arrest, and another round of ‘Germany or Florida’. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about the over-politicization of Saturday Night Live, and Lenny Dykstra no longer fighting the Bagel Guy.
