Alonzo Bodden & George Schlatter Discuss A Golden Age Of Comedy + News on 4th of July Traditions, and the Creators of ‘South Park’ Making Waves in the Restaurant Industry
Comedian Alonzo Bodden joins Adam as they relate and debate oldie’s music, and Adam annihilates anyone who likes a certain rock song. They commiserate about road rage experiences and the joys of driving Los Angeles freeways. Next, in true July 4th traditions, we learn all about professional eating champion, Joey Chestnut, who acquired his 16th “Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest” title, eating 62 hot dogs for the win. Adam & Alonzo are then joined by legendary producer, George Schlatter who recounts a colorful career with a variety of stories working with such consummate stars as Goldie Hawn, Lily Tomlin, Cher and even our previous President, Richard Nixon.
Intermittently, Chris reports the news where they discuss recent trends where many cities are utilizing drone shows to replace fireworks displays. Another controversial topic; the creators of ‘South Park’ recently acquired Denver’s famed ‘Casa Bonita’, and have recently implemented a higher minimum wage while eliminating tipping. Also, more Joe and Hunter Biden inconsistencies.
