01 Mar Alec Baldwin and Sue Costello
Adam opens the show complaining about Caelan’s bio for Alec Baldwin, and HBO airing ‘The Hammer’ with the wrong description on it. He then explains a sitcom-esque moment that occurred at his house involving steak. Alec Baldwin calls in next, and the guys catch up on what they’ve been up to lately. They also discuss the success of podcasting, Alec’s new TV show, and the new films he’s working on. Later they chat about how the paradigm has shifted and now stars want to be on TV to make more money. Before hanging up, Alec talks about trying to accomplish too much in your life, and the origins of his political aspirations. The guys also take a quick fan phone call the upcoming Mangria Bar Crawl in Phoenix.
Comedian Sue Costello is in studio next, and Adam talks to her about 20 years of standup and their early days doing open mic nights. The guys then discuss why it’s good to face your fears, and Sue shares her Alec Baldwin story. Next up, Gina begins the news talking about Erin Andrew’s day in court regarding her peeping tom case. In the last part of the show, the guys discuss some genital slippage at the NFL combine, Frank Stallone’s anger at his brother not winning an Oscar, and the Clippers new mascot.
