Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam complains to Bryan and Gina about his recent travel experience returning from Denver. They go on to talk about the continued confusion over wearing a mask, and then speak to Mike August about flying with a boxcutter, and the proper way to slice a large cake. Later, Adam recalls the time he was detained by TSA, and Gina reads news stories about the first transgender athlete to compete in the Olympics, the first openly gay active NFL player, and more woke characters added to Sesame Street. Before the break, the guys react to one more story about Chrissy Teigen’s bullying scandal.

Psychologist and author Adam Grant joins Adam for an extended 1-on-1 conversation in the second part of the show. The guys begin by discussing what organizational psychology is, and go on to chat about how to make your workplace more enjoyable, and having characteristics like grit and humility. Adam Grant also discusses the possibility of having a workplace where you can reinvent your job, and Adam asks him about the next generation of workers who want to set their own terms. Later, the guys break down some of Adam Grant’s recent Tweets. As the conversation wraps up, the guys talk about the problems with television obsession, the joys of working on a physical project, and Adam’s studio trash can moving around.
