Show Summary
Adam opens the show talking about how his close circle of friends have all wound up trending on Twitter. He talks further about outrage culture, and the notion of needing a time machine so everyone can apologize. Later they talk about how this new paradigm applies to parody and comedy, and Adam’s new book still sold out on Amazon (get the Audiobook and the Kindle version!). The guys also take calls about CHOP in Seattle, and how talk shows and politics mix. Before the break, Adam plays a clip of a conversation he had with Mark Geragos about Harvey Weinstein, and the gang plays a round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game.
As Part 2 begins, Gina reads a news stories about CHOP in Seattle, which reminds Adam about his brilliant Attack Crow plan. They also discuss Bill Cosby’s appeal, Ron Jeremy’s rape charges, and the death of movie producer Steve Bing. Later they react to stories about episodes of 30 Rock featuring blackface becoming unavailable, and Jeff Ross denying allegations about sexual misconduct with a minor.
