Show Summary

Adam opens today’s show discussing the notion that Trump never changes the tone of his voice, regardless of who he’s in front of. Adam also plays a clip from one of his ‘Unprepared’ live shows, and the guys go on to discuss how India has been approaching the COVID-19 pandemic. Other topics of conversation include LA’s out of control homelessness problem, and Emily Ratajkowski’s stance on her baby’s gender. Later, the gang takes calls for a special live edition of Slippery Slope Guy, and Adam analyzes the amount of athletes who got sick with COVID. Before the break, Adam brings up the fact that there’s been no COVID coverage in the last 48 hours.

Author Marshall Terrill is on the line next, and Adam talks with him about his latest work, which is about the life and legacy of Steve McQueen. The guys chat about how love for McQueen has crossed generations, and why his memorabilia is worth so much money. Later, Marshall shares a couple infamous McQueen stories, including the ‘rivalry’ between McQueen and Paul Newman. Later they talk about the legacy of boxer Ken Norton, and before hanging up they circle back to the legacy of McQueen. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about Tito Ortiz winning a city council seat in Huntington Beach, a city that elected a dog for mayor, new laws against single use bags, and a joyride involving a very expensive custom truck.
