Show Summary
As the show opens, Bald Bryan talks with Adam about The Car Show, and Adam discusses the rushed style of filming a television series. Dawson reads some email questions, which lead Adam to contemplate a second shot at life, and why he loves peeing in the sink so much. He also responds to an emailer who’s having a tough time with screws.
Director Zane Buzby comes in studio next, and talks about her ‘Survivor Mitzvah’ project. Adam also asks her about why she thinks Jews in Hollywood are anti-Israel. Zane talks about her experiences coming to California and having to learn the ‘valley girl’ lingo for a part she was cast in a Cheech and Chong movie. Later, they talk about her appearance in the film Spinal Tap, and Alison reads the resume of Zane’s television directing career.
In the last part of the show, Adam asks Zane to talk more about the Survivor Mitzvah project, which is a charity that provides money to survivors of the Holocaust who are still living in poverty. She talks about her travels to Latvia and Lithuania, and what lead her to become passionate about this cause. As the show wraps up, they talk about the film ‘Americathon,’ which has an all-star cast and very bizarre plot.

I’m half-hoping Adam gets kicked off the Apprentice early on so I don’t have to suffer through an entire season of that nonsense just to see his funny moments. Donald Trump is an insufferable blowhard and the rest of the cast does not look that interesting. But I have a feeling our Aceman may go far, since he should be popular with the guys during the early part when it’s Men vs. Women, and even after that, he’s smarter than most of those other D-listers on there. So it may be a long winter of bad hair and screaming matches for us.

I listen to the podcast everday. I think Adam is hilarious. But he knows nothing about history or current events. Reducing the Israel/Palestine issue to anti-Israel or pro-Israel is an unnecessary simplification. Just look at the debate within Israel between two of the major political parties, the kadima and Likud. Both recognize the need for a two-state solution. Adam rants without any facts or context, and instead relies on a chambered emotional response.
