Having a multitude of shower faucets is not nearly as confusing or annoying as cell phone charger plug types. If electronic companies can agree on USB, electrical outlet, and other standards, why not a cell phone plug type standard?

So after I googled it, there is a move towards the micro USB. One of the main reasons is the millions of chords and chargers and crap that end up in the landfill.

But glad to hear someone else who considers themselves fairly smart is sometimes confused in a hotel or friend’s shower. There does seem to be an unusually large amount of shower faucet choices out there.

I vote for the single handle/knob design.

Awesome mention of XTC. Because they don’t tour and aren’t heard on the radio it can sometimes seem as if you’re the only one in the world who listens to them.

Carolla has reached a new level of old with his rank on batteries. it was hilarious, but how hard is putting a battery in. Everyone knows the flat side of the battery goes next to the spring. It reminded me of my grandma’s confusion over how to put a dvd into the dvd player, “How am I supposed to know what side goes up? Oh, forget it I’ll stick with VHS.”

Yeah, I got kind of excited when Alison knew who he was, considering Adam loves Ben Folds, Ben Folds loves Elliott Smith, and Elliott Smith is better than anything Adam has ever played on his sessions with Wild. But, nonetheless I’ll just have to accept that Joe Jackson, The Pretenders, Elvis Costello and John Hiatt are the greatest musicians of all time.

I also remember Adam saying that when they were auditioning male actors for one of his pilots that he got rebuffed by Thomas Jane’s people: “Thomas Jane doesn’t do TV.” Somebody really shoulda reminded the ACE Man of that, so he could bring it up and a little more controversy to the show.

C’mon guys love the XTC plug but they deserve PROPER recognition… Simply one of the best bands of the 80′s and beyond… Andy Partridge is a GENIUS, and as far as I know, Gregory and Partridge are still great friends, Andy is estranged from Colin Moulding.
