Show Summary

Adam opens the show complaining about an awkward exchange he had with an old guy at a stop sign. He talks about the major miscommunications that people have on the road when they try to direct traffic on their own, and also talks about backing into a bunch of garbage cans after Lynette didn’t help him guide the car. Alison then goes into the audience to take some questions for Adam.

Rob Schneider comes on stage next, and comments on a jag Adam goes on about celebrity ball-sacks. The guys discuss the lengths to which men and women go to become attractive, and talk about merkins and merkin salesmen. Later, they discuss who has the biggest calves in Hollywood, and Rob talks about the worst drivers in the world, which he recently encountered in China on his honeymoon.

Moving into the news, Anthony Weiner has officially resigned. The guys make fun of a Weiner photo, and discuss whether or not sexting counts as cheating. The conversation then becomes about why guys want to get married if they really want to be alone. The guys also talk about Larry Flynt’s offer to hire Weiner for Hustler, and the riots in Canada after the Vancouver Canucks lost the Stanley Cup to the Boston Bruins.

Adam accidentally spills his beer, prompting Rob to jump into a killer Lovitz impression, chastising Adam for the party foul. The guys then discuss the ‘treasure hunter’ who is on the search for Osama Bin Laden’s body, and the new LACMA art display that’s actually a giant boulder about to fall over. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about the failed war on drugs, the next evolution of pot, and the Schwarzenegger scandal.

Show Summary

Adam opens the show with a rant about sunflower seed (peanut) butter. He also talks about the reviews that have come in after The Car Show premiered, and Alison even reads one out loud. She then goes into the crowd for Q and Ace, where Adam talks about TV shows he wishes he could appear in, touring California, and Spam vs. Poi.

Bryan Cranston comes on stage next, and talks to the guys about his daughter starting up at USC. Adam and Bryan also do a new take on ‘Good Cop, Bad Cop,’ and talk about growing up poor in the valley. Bryan recalls going to thrift stores and swap meets with his mom, and both guys agree that clutter now drives them crazy because of how they were raised. The guys also talk about improvements that need to be made to label makers.

Moving into the news, the Emmy nominations have been announced, and the guys talk about how Breaking Bad is not eligible for the awards. The guys also talk about Ann Coulter being banned on Piers Morgan’s show, and the time Adam hung up on her.

In the last part of the show, the guys joke around about little kids in strip clubs, and the time Adam had to help his mother-in-law take her medicine. Alison wraps the news with a story about a guy named Casey Anthony who’s now being harassed, and the show closes with the guys talking about messed up lullabies.

Show Summary

Live from the Jon Lovitz Podcast Theater, Adam, Alison, and Mike Lynch (filling in for Bald Bryan) talk about Adam’s recent days going through various surgeries and dental exams. He also gives some updates on his dog Molly, and answers questions from the audience during a round of Q & Ace.

Patrick Warburton and Jim Shaughnessy join the stage next. They’re currently working together on a new Crackle web series. Adam talks to Jim about his rough history with Jay Leno, and Patrick discusses how he’s never been on the show. Adam also talks about working with Jimmy Kimmel and Bill Simmons during the Man Show days.

Moving into the news with Alison, the group discusses the continuing trial of Conrad Murray, and also how Amanda Knox is adapting to life outside of prison. They also discuss Hank Williams’ song being pulled from Monday Night Football because of his Obama-Hitler comments, and Alison reads an excerpt from a Rolling Stones article about ‘State of Shock.’ After a story about a site that provides you with a fake girlfriend, the show wraps up with a clip from Patrick and Jim’s new animated web series, and Alison reads an excerpt from her fake pregnancy memoir.
