Show Summary

As the show opens up, Adam rants about getting a bunch of free shaving equipment, but only after using a gift card to purchase a bunch of shaving equipment. The guys then welcome Ice-T to the studio and talk with him about his directorial debut, ‘The Art of Rap’. The guys also discuss Ice-T’s early life in Compton, and his experiences in the army. Later they chat about robbing banks, and some of the music that Ice-T likes.

Today’s news opens with more trouble for John Travolta, and a scandal within the Miss America community. The guys also discuss the importance of honesty, Law & Order, and why Donald Trump is so theatrical. Later they talk about a Japanese man who removed his own genitals and auctioned off a chance to eat them.

As Ice-T leaves the studio, Teresa Strasser enters with stories of terrible parents for Parents of the Week. Stories include abandoned kids, kids being handed live rounds, and a woman who completely misunderstood the purpose of a car-seat. Adam also discusses his $10/gallon gas utopia, and rants about fuel gauges. As the show wraps up, the guys discuss Teresa’s date with David Alan Grier, and how cars can reveal your political stance.

Show Summary

As the show opens up, Adam announces that our scheduled guest, Ben Folds, had to drop out… but as long as the keyboard is set up, Chris Maxipada is stepping in. Teresa Strasser is also in studio, and the guys talk with Chris about a cross-country bus trip he once took with 15 friends. Adam also goes on a long rant about a misunderstood joke on the back of his new book, and even takes some listener calls to see if they get the joke. Later, Lynette Carolla calls in to rant about Twins Day at school, and all the other confusing events that their school organizes.

After the break, Teresa jumps in with her Parents of the Week segment. The guys talk about animals who kill their young, a mom who killed her child’s father over a greeting card, and security footage that shows parents putting their kid in a washing machine. As the show wraps up, Adam talks about killing a spider with lighter fluid, and discusses the time he was the angriest he’s ever been on the air.

Show Summary

As the show opens up, Adam recalls his interactions with Jill Zarin, and their imaginary TV show ‘Hot Cup of Jill with Ace Over Easy.’ Teresa Strasser is also in studio, and jumps right into her list of the Parents of the Week. Along the way they discuss foster kids, the bartender code, and the use of Adam’s ceramics skills. They also talk about confrontations with cops, and Adam recalls some scary parents growing up.

Ray Romano and Tom Caltabiano join the studio next, and Adam talks with them about their new documentary, ’95 Miles To Go.’ Adam asks Ray about his infamous ‘mind bets,’ and they also commiserate over corporate gigs and segment producers who don’t approve of their jokes. Ray also relates to the difficulties of recording an audiobook, and the guys listen to an exclusive clip from Not Taco Bell Material.

In the news, Obama was recently on The View. The guys in studio play along to the same pop culture quiz that Obama took, and try to bet on the answers. The guys also discuss the differences between men and women’s sex dreams. Also in the news, Jay-Z and Manny Pacquiao have both expressed their opposing views of gay marriage. The last news story is about Amazon’s list of best-read cities, and show wraps up with a conversation about the trappings of fame and more stories about making the doc.

Show Summary

Adam opens the show giving a bit of background on today’s guests and the show they created, ‘Ben 10.’ Teresa Strasser is also in studio, and reads through Parents of the Week—focusing on three very terrible sets of parents. Adam then rants about a recent 60 Minutes special which analyzes the effectiveness of waterboarding, and wants naysayers to offer a better suggestion for getting crucial info out of our enemies.

Joe Casey and Steven Seagle then join the podcast, discussing the premise of their show and the dedicated following it has. They also talk about having to change one of the show’s key elements because kids wanted it different. Adam then goes through a bag of shwag, and chats with the guys about Ultimate Spiderman.

Alison opens the news discussing Obama’s surprise visit to Afghanistan on the anniversary of Osama Bin Laden’s death. The group then talks about terrorists and cultists liking porn, and also joke about when leading men had bad teeth. Other news stories include Facebook encouraging its users to indicate if they are organ donors, a conflict between dolphins, and an increase of babies being born addicted to pain meds. As the show wraps up, the group talks about using booze as medicine, and Adam rants about kids needing crappy movies on demand.
