Show Summary

Larry Miller is in studio with Adam and the gang right from the top of the show. Larry’s brought a gift for Adam, which helps soften the blow after Adam informs him that Larry missed his own charity event. Adam also rants about chocolate chips in pecan pie, and talks about his day at the Long Beach Grand Prix practice. The guys then discuss shitting at the airport, and Larry tries his luck at the Hypothetical Road Trip Game.

Next up, the co-creators of American Reunion join the show. Adam talks with them about being able to get the entire cast back, and the guys also discuss the Harold & Kumar franchise. Alison then starts up the news discussing the deadly shooting in Oakland, and a Canadian transgender who is trying to compete in the Miss Universe competition.

Later in the show, the guys listen to an angry voicemail from Chevy Chase to Community creator Dan Harmon. Alison then brings up the NBC investigation of the shooting of Treyvon Martin, and Adam spends a while discussing whether or not we’re a racist society, and what we need to do to get back on track. The last couple stories are about Alec Baldwin’s engagement, and Dunkin Donuts switching their soda. The show wraps up with a discussion about TV movie clichés and time flying as you get older.

Show Summary

Adam opens the show by announcing that Kevin Smith will be appearing in studio tomorrow to help clear the air on their recent argument. Adam also goes through the Girl Scout Cookie rankings, and yells at Larry Miller for not liking the right ones. Later, Adam rants about remote controls with low batteries, and whether or not you tip the hotel housekeeping.

Alison starts up the news discussing the results of the SAG awards. Adam also goes on a jag about Yakov Smirnoff and breaks down the flaws of Rocky 3. Adam then tries to give advice to a lazy 14-year old son, and talks with Alison about the latest happenings at Occupy DC. Adam also takes your tweets for a round of What Can’t Adam Complain About, and he wraps the show talking to callers about high school reunions and animated caricatures.

Show Summary

Adam opens the show breaking down all the reasons he hates Rod Stewart’s music. He also rants about the lack of useable creamer in his dressing room at a recent show, and goes on a jag about hot maids. The guys then jump to phones, where Adam offers his thoughts on expensive concert tickets. They also talk to a star struck fan who met Adam after a recent show.

Alison starts up the news by discussing the identity of the man found in pieces around the Hollywood Hills. Later, she shares her joy of cute baby animal videos and reveals more details about the Hedi Klum/Seal split. Larry Miller then tries his luck at the Hypothetical Road Trip Game, only this time he plays against a caller planning a date with a stripper.

Katie Morgan then joins the show, and talks with Adam and the gang about her extensive career as a porn star. The guys also hear about her roots in Reseda, and why ranchero music gives her panic attacks. As the show wraps up, Adam rants about people who put their nose in other people’s business, and the guys have a laugh about porn bloopers.

Show Summary

As the show opens up, Adam welcomes Michael Narren to the show. Recently the guys worked on a new eBook, ‘Rich Man, Poor Man,’ which Michael animated. They also talk about his journey moving out to LA and now working for Family Guy. The guys then jump to the Twitter feed to chose their favorite Rich Man Poor Man submissions, and take fan phone calls about forced sterilization, crapping at work, and the defunct blog ‘Adam Carolla is Wrong.’

Comedian Pete Holmes joins the podcast next, and talks about his experience as the voice of the eTrade baby. Adam relates to long voice over sessions, and complains about having to read new copy even after doing 400 takes. Adam and Pete also talk about a fierce competition to eliminate multiple cities with the same name.

In the last part of the show, Alison begins the news discussing John Huntsman dropping out of the Presidential race. Adam also talks about Martin Luther King, Jr., and says that it’s probably for the best that he died before the TMZ culture of today. Other stories include updates on the Italian cruise ship disaster, and a survey about the supposedly great places to have a ‘quicky.’

Show Summary

Adam opens the show discussing another hard day’s work at the studio. He rants about the guys closing the bathroom door when nobody’s using it, and complains about the sandwich with extra mayo he got even though he didn’t order it that way. Alison then opens the news, and stories include a controversial homework assignment in Georgia, an unauthorized Obama book, and Snoop Dogg’s latest drug bust. Adam also takes a couple calls, and plays the Hypothetical Road Trip game with Larry Miller.

Today’s guest is author Daniele Bolelli, who talks about his book, ’50 Things You’re Not Supposed To Know.’ The guys talk about his strong Italian accent, even though he’s been in the states for 20 years. The guys also go through some of the book’s talking points on religion, and discuss how to start your own cult. Adam then asks Daniele about his black belt, and the guys agree on the simplicity of fighting.

In the last part of the show, Alison reads a news story about the number of twins being born in the United States. Adam talks about his own family’s struggles to conceive, and that of his buddy Hench. The guys pull Daniele into the conversation to see what God may have to say about medical help for conception and ending one’s life. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about a new Chrysler vehicle based on the same engineering as the Fiat, and some interesting driving statistics.

Adam opens the show with Larry Miller in studio right from the beginning. He talks a bit about the cool project he’s working on with Kevin Smith and Kevin Pollack, and talks with Alison about the (late) ACE Broadcasting Christmas Party. Alison then jumps into the news, talking about Oprah’s revealing family secret, and the sad passing of Jack LaLanne.

In entertainment news, Alison lists some of the nominations for the Razzies. The guys also discuss the demise of M. Night Shyamalan, and all the crappy Nic Cage movies. Alison brings up the devastating news that Marriott hotels are phasing out porn. There’s talk about the recent suicide bombing in Russia, and Adam and Larry talk about the important difference America has made in the world.

After the break, back in-studio with Seth MacFarlane. The guys talk about Seth’s love of classic music and live orchestral arrangements. They also talk about his early days animating for Hanna-Barbera, and Adam complains about all the crappy cartoons they put out. Seth also talks about the early days of putting Family Guy together, and Adam discusses his own issues getting an animated pilot off the ground. As the show wraps, Seth reads a section of Adam’s book in the voice of Stewie.

Adam begins the show discussing his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, which taped earlier today. Larry Miller is in studio, and relates to the experience of doing a late night talk show and sensing the energy of the crowd before you come out. Adam also talks with him about one of Jay’s super expensive cars, and gives an update on his dog Molly.

Alison opens the news discussing Blagojevich’s 14-year prison sentence. The group talks about corrupt politicians, and also discuss disturbing details from the Sandusky scandal. Larry brings up an awkward conversation he had with an insurance guy, which gets the group talking about the abundance of insurance commercials these days. Alison then talks about a Mythbusters experiment gone wrong, and the guys wrap the news taking about celebrity treatment on airplanes.

In the last part of the show, Larry tries his luck during a few rounds of the Hypothetical Road Trip. The guys then return to the news, and wrap the show talking about Rolling Stone’s best movies of the year, and the problems with not letting girls have access to Plan B without a prescription.

Earlier today, Adam was listening to the 70s station of his satellite radio and came across an awful Sly and The Family Stone song. He also rants about the series Family Affair, and recalls when it was cool to make fun of white people on TV. Alison then opens the news with stories of Al Davis’ death, Paul McCartney’s wedding, and a woman suing the makers of the film Drive.

After a round of the Hypothetical Road Trip game, Larry Miller steps out and Duff McKagan steps in. Adam talks with Duff about his sobriety, and whether or not the times were truly different for rock stars a decade ago as opposed to now. Adam also asks him about a potential reunion tour, and Duff talks about his quest to write a book telling the Guns N’ Roses story and his battle with addiction. As the show wraps up, Alison talks about Kanye West and Al Sharpton joining the movement to occupy Wall Street, and discusses the attempts to stop teens from using tanning beds.
