Show Summary

Adam announces that our producer Mike Lynch had his first baby earlier today, and quickly rants about the pink and blue baby caps given at hospitals. Alison then starts the news talking about the death of comedian Patrice O’Neal. The guys also talk about the Conrad Murray sentencing and the Herman Cain campaign, and Adam complains about in-flight movies once he hears that American Airlines has filed for bankruptcy. The last news story is about Seth MacFarlane’s house being TP’d by Charlie Sheen fans.

Winter Ave Zoli joins the show next, who talks with Adam about the TV series she’s on, ‘Sons of Anarchy.’ Turns out they shoot in North Hollywood, and Adam reminisces about the non-existent NoHo Arts District. Winter also talks about her experience moving to Prague with her family, where they opened a nightclub while she started getting acting gigs.

Returning to the news, the group goes through Facebook’s Top 10 most shared articles of 2011, which leads to conversations about astrological signs, bad dogs, and why parents don’t want to get involved with their kids’ schools. In the last part of the show, the guys talk about Miley Cyrus being a stoner, Wyclef Jean’s Haiti charity misappropriating funds, and some startling shoplifting stats.

Show Summary

As the show opens up, Adam talks about having to travel across the country without his usual team because Lynch is having a baby any day now. He also complains about his realtor getting him worked up about a flood even though it was nothing, and comments on Egypt’s first violence-free elections. Bald Bryan then tells a story about hanging out with Saints’ wide receiver coach Carter Sheridan, who happens to be a fan of the show.

Alison then begins the news with yet another woman who has come forward claiming she had a relationship with Herman Cain. Cain tried to get ahead of the story this time, but the guys listen to both sides of the story and try to decide who’s telling the truth. Later the guys hear about the victims found in connection with a Craig’s List killer in Ohio.

Carlos Mencia comes in studio next, and Adam comments on his tremendous weight loss. Carlos explains what inspired him to lose the weight, and also gives more details on his daily regiment. The guys both relate to growing up poor, and Carlos talks about having to share everything with 17 siblings. As the show wraps up, the guys joke about Univision, car decals, and the crazy machismo of Latin cultures.

Show Summary

Adam opens the podcast discussing an observation he made while watching the UFC fight from the weekend. Greg Fitzsimmons then comes in studio, and talks with Adam and the gang about his weekend in Vegas and why he’s done with strip clubs. The guys also discuss problems with water parks, and Greg’s new gas station game show, ‘Pumped.’

In the news, the protestors at Occupy Wall Street have been given permission to demonstrate in the park, but are not allowed to sleep there over night. The guys also talk about the latest Herman Cain interview snafu, and Adam suggests that the political system is too tightly regulated for any president to get anything done. Later, they have a lengthy discussion about the Sandusky scandal, and why we need to be more active in supporting the victims.

In the last part of the show, the guys jump to the phones to hear your Tales From The Cheap. Stories include a guy whose mom kept the dirty Styrofoam meat trays, a guy whose brother got a very interesting gift in his stocking, and a guy who got a bunch of pens for his birthday. The guys also share their own cheap stories, and the show wraps with a discussion of their first porno experiences.
