Show Summary

The show opens with Adam joking around about Springsteen singing about hard working people who don’t have jobs. He talks with Dr. Drew about how hardworking people will always be able to get jobs, and Dr. Drew talks about the groups he’s seen struggle. Alison then asks Dr. Drew to comment on the bath salts that affected the Florida face-eater and whether or not being crazy can bring out your inner asshole.

Later, the guys talk about David Alan Grier’s various performances on Broadway, and Adam recalls some stereotypes he saw brought to life in the audience. The guys also talk about the benefits of college, and chat with a couple of callers for relationship advice. As the show wraps up, Alison talks about being lied to about her religion growing up, and Adam talks with another staffer about discovering his biological father at age 14.

As the show opens up, Dr. Drew reflects on his kids returning from their first year of college, and recalls when they were just little kids. The guys chat about free-range hippie schools and how time changes as you grow older. Dr. Drew also remembers a travel story from Philadelphia when he got horribly sick, and the guys discuss the desire to be an adult when you’re still a kid.

Next up, the guys jump to the phone lines and talk with a caller whose fiancé has two vaginas. Later they recall the early days of KROQ when it was the only radio station playing bizarre new music. The guys agree that the origin story would make a great movie. As the show wraps up, Adam and Dr. Drew talk to callers about non-drug related highs, and how to be intimate with traumatized rape victims.

Show Summary

Adam welcomes Natasha Leggero right from the top of the show. The staff gives Adam a hard time for talking about the definition of Natasha’s name, and Adam talks to her about trying to turn a pilot into a series. They also talk about how much money audience warm up guys make, and the ridiculousness of the TV ratings system. Later, the group discusses the problems with having only likeable characters on your show.

Alison starts up the news with updates on Whitney Houston’s funeral, and goes through a list of attendees and performers. The next story deals with Jimmy Kimmel’s post-Oscar show, and Adam talks about an upcoming star-studded party he’s going to once Howard Stern comes to town.

Dr. Drew then calls the podcast and talks about the recent comments from Whoopi Goldberg regarding Whitney Houston’s final night. Adam also jumps to the phones to talk about the movement to get him to perform in Australia, and what type of minority he would want to be. The guys listen to a new Dick Banks song, and the show wraps up with the guys giving advice to a caller trying to get laid in college.

Adam also talks about hanging out at the Grammy’s gifting suite, where he got a bag full of memorabilia for women, and saw a guy in a tank top who shouldn’t have been wearing one. The guys also take a call from Nick DiPaolo and Artie Lange and chat about Artie’s sobriety, the guys’ dynamic, and the Super Bowl.

Next up, the guys jump to the phones to give relationship advice. Alison then opens the news discussing the new $1,000 fine that’s come into place for anyone throwing a football or frisbee on the beaches of LA. After an epic rant, the guys also watch a viral video of a dad shooting up his daughter’s laptop. As the show wraps up, the guys chat about Macauley Culkin, bosses covering their employee’s birth control, and the problems with hope and change.

Show Summary

Jim Norton is in studio from the top of the show, and talks with Adam about his gig on ‘Opie and Anthony’. Adam refers to a clip of their radio show where one of the hosts calls Adam a liar and an asshole. Dr. Drew calls in to help offer a different perspective about their meeting.

While Drew is on the line, Jim asks him about a particular sexual fetish. Adam recalls some of his conversations with Jim and wants to know more about where some of his more bizarre sexual addictions come from. Alison asks him about his earliest pervy moments, and Jim stands up for Craig’s List’s former glory.

In the news, Alison lends more details to the Pinkberry founder’s attack on a homeless man. Adam rants about homeless guys with tattoos and piercings, and talks about guys who bring delicious outside food onto airplanes. Later the group discusses the word ‘cunt,’ bizarre fast food mascots, and the woman who offered sexual favors in exchange for McNuggets. The show wraps up with the guys commenting on which occupations Americans trust most.
