As the show opens up, Adam talks about a fun podcast he recorded earlier in the day where they created a new Mangria-inspired cocktail, ‘The Bitter Man’. He also rants about a Rolling Stones article that claimed he was the ‘sidekick’ to Dr. Drew on Loveline. Later, Dave Dameshek chats about the past week in the NFL and talks to Adam about his idea for the ‘Loser Bowl.’ Before heading out, Shek reveals the Creep of the Week.

Shadoe Stevens enters the studio next, and Adam talks to him about the early days of KROQ and all the great music he was introduced to. He also talks with Shadoe about writing children’s books, and his infatuation with Datsun racing. In the news, Alison talks about the announcement of the iPad Mini. She also gives updates on Tony Scott’s suicide, and talks about people who lose their virginity in their 20s. As the show wraps up, Adam explains the upside of delayed gratification.

Show Summary

The show opens with Adam wondering why people even bother to argue with him. The gang gets into an intense conversation about leaf blowers, and why Adam believes they should be outlawed. Dave Dameshek is also in studio, and talks about his own personal attack at the office salad bar. Later, he discusses updates at Penn State and the outcome of the British Open. Before heading out, Shek reveals the Creep of the Week.

Next up, Candace Bailey from Attack of the Show enters the studio. Adam talks with her about her experiences as a junior Olympic gymnast, and learns about the relationship between gymnastics and height. Alison then begins the news discussing the Aurora tragedy from last weekend when a mad man shot up a movie theater. The guys spend the rest of the show talking about the killer’s family and how society can prevent tragedies like this in the future.

Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam and the gang welcome Dave Dameshek back to the studio. Dave reads through Adam’s bucket list, and talks about zombies and the Walking Dead. The guys also recall their favorite scenes from the likes of Road House and Point Break, and Dave gives updates since the all-star break. Later they discuss Steve Nash’s addition to the Lakers, and Dave announces the Creep of the Week.

Next up, Dexter Holland and Noodles of The Offspring enter the studio. Adam recalls an early concert at the Shrine he attended where the balcony was literally rocking up and down. He also talks with Dexter about flying his jets on tour, and the success of Gringo Bandito hot sauce.

Alison begins the news by discussing the Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes divorce settlement, which leads into a conversation about dating outside your age range. The guys also talk about a restaurant on a military base that is allowed to serve foie gras, postal workers going on a hunger strike, and Bloomburg’s plans to build microunit apartments for single people living in New York. As the show wraps up, the guys chat about The Offspring’s rise to fame, and exchange hilarious stories about Pennywise’s Fletcher, and Huell Howser.

Jim Norton enters the studio next, and Adam jokes with him about getting a prostitute for Sonny. Adam also talks about meeting Jim’s parents backstage at a show, and asks Jim about whether or not he adjusts his raunchy act when the folks are in the crowd. He also rants about ringtones that don’t give you a chance to answer the phone, and groups of people who can’t stay quiet. Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam is finally allowed to address his experience on Celebrity Apprentice. It also allows him to rant about his hotel room, the ‘clearance lady,’ and how some of the other celebrities interacted with each other. Adam also takes calls about going to Australia, the best way to propose, and how to choose the right career path.

Dave Dameshek joins the podcast next, and he and Adam talk about guys who put weight on their face, and why Shek could never get away with murder. The guys also discuss Adam’s bachelor party. Later, they get into some football talk, and predict who will make it through the upcoming NFL playoffs.

Alison then opens the news with the story of Michele Bachmann dropping out of the presidential race. Adam wants to know why the candidates who don’t make it through aren’t more upset about it. Adam and Shek then start talking about bizarre movie clichés, and the show wraps up with a discussion of terrible Stallone movies, and terrible booze commercials.
