Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam complains about an SUV blocking the door to his warehouse, and explains that he is retiring his red and yellow wallet. Alison then opens the news with stories about The Second Mile, George Clooney, and updates on the NBA holdout. The guys also discuss whether Obama’s heath care reforms should be considered constitutional.
Today’s guest is Robert Davi, and Adam teases him about his favorite scene in Showgirls. The guys also listen to a clip of Robert singing Sinatra, and Adam recalls seeing Robert at the Feast of San Gennaro. Robert then talks about his earlier acting experience, the thrill of meeting Sinatra, and why singing makes him feel unleashed for the first time ever.
Adam then jumps to the phones to cheer callers up during a round of Mr. Brightside. Robert also helps callers dealing with moving into their parents’ house, recovering from hernia surgery, and facing unemployment. Returning to the news, Alison talks about Santa Monica banning food trucks during late night hours, and the show wraps up with the guys complaining about chicken shit tickets and Chelsea Clinton’s hair.

I feel you on the rent loss. I can’t figure out how its any different from stealing money. I hate when people stiff me on rent and then the authorities don’t seem to care too much.

Mr Bright Side is the best routine. Pound for pound it is Adam consistently at his best. Also Dough Flutie drop kicking was absolutely hilarious.

Great show today!!! Davi seems like a cool dude. I also don’t get why Adam kept saying “Hand of God.” I don’t really remeber him saying it before.
“Inside Edition” recently aired a segment where they left wallets with money in NYC. People who swiped the money were younger (under 30) men. Older people (including a German tourist couple) returned the wallet intact.
To Adam’s point in the early part of the show – my Dad has no home insurance. It saves him $1000/year and he said if it burns down – the land is worth way more than the house anyway.
By looking at Adams school ID he could have kicked a young Bob Costas right out of the shower room…
It took me a while to get to this episode but it was worth the wait. Robert Davi is a great guest: classy guy, good sense of humor, good storyteller. And I have to admit Adam had some a lot of good riffs going throughout the show.
