Relationship Calls
Podcast: Play in new window
Show Summary
As the show opens, Adam thanks the guys who fed the entire staff hot dogs tonight. He also talks about managing the house while Lynette is out of town, and gives updates on taking the kids to school and his dog Molly. Later, Adam talks about an awkward conversation he had at his mom’s house, and complains a bit more about valet guys not doing their job right.
Alison then opens the news, discussing Herman Cain’s denial of all sexual harassment allegations against him. She talks about the difference between wanted and unwanted sexual advancements, and Adam says he’s sick of the witch hunts that begin any time someone runs for political office. Also in the news is the Penn State sex scandal, and Adam talks about his ‘little brother’ Nate.
In the last part of the show, Adam and the gang jump to the phone lines to take your relationship calls. Along the way, he talks to a guy in a long distance internet relationship, a guy whose girl is threatening suicide if they break up, and a guy whose dad is addicted to porn. Before the show wraps, Adam gets depressed after looking at a MapQuest of his dad’s old house, and talks with a caller about being a veterinarian.

Shazam!
What the fuck is up with the Yankees cap?
I agree with Adam about how candidates for public office are “vetted” in the media. Of course these days we have more and more unqualified people vying for public office (or power-broker) positions.
In my opinion, Hermain Cain would much prefer defending his character than his “policies” (e.g. anti-abortion, anti-equal rights, 9-9-9 tax proposal, non-existent foreign policy, etc.).
Also, FOX News reported that in a 2003 bid for public office, Cain’s campaign managers planned a response about the 2 NRA settlements in case they came up. So, when Cain initially said he wasn’t aware of any NRA settlements he was as Adam often points out “either lying or stupid.”
just sayin’…
Thank you for the “Play in new window” option. I now have 4 new shows to listen to, yipee!
Shaq was ‘Kazaam.’ Why do I know that?
Oh adam… I just shake my head. If you only knew how much people over here in Mexico laugh at your shitty hot dogs. By the way, the “mexican” hot dogs you get in LA aren’t mexican, they’re Tex-Mex. Its turned into this weird hybrid that uses shit loads of that shitty american yellow cheese which we fucking hate down here. Ive been to the states plenty of times. Ive tried dogs in LA, New York, Seattle, Vegas and Florida. Decent at best. Anyways, just wanted to make that clear. I know you don’t read the comments but if you do read this one I know that you’ll just dismiss me as being retarded, etc. So we’ll just go back to laughing at your shitty hot dogs and you’ll go back to laughing at our violence problem. Fair trade.
Love the show, love Alison. Peace!
PS: What’s wrong with wrapping hot dogs in bacon?! Why the hell wouldn’t you?! Most food can be improved by adding bacon!
mexico….the home of gourmet cuisine
Ah Ha! found the “Play in new window” button, but the old player was still better because it listed the recent shows which I usually go through and re-listen to them or sometimes I listen to shows out of order on my PC and I can pick and choose, but getting better.
I miss the clock too, because if you want to hear something over or need to go to the bathroom you just check where the clock is and drag the cursor back when you return, or god forbid; your boss comes in and want’s to talk about work, oh the humanity!!!
Great show today. I love the comedic sniff Adam has been throwing out lately.
Adam: ..and a son…shot in the head and blind.
Alison: Who shot him?
Adam: One of his friends or something…
Alison: His Ray.
That killed me. I love me some Alison Rosen.
Time to put that dog down. Long past in fact.
Those weiners look yummy
“Sonny?!”
Fucking hilarious.
Alison pulling a quiet BJ Penn reference. Nice.
Aceman site looks good, been listening since pre-day one of the podcast back when I had to download love lines off torrent sites. This is much easier then going though the hassle of illegal downloading. Better then stern, better than jesus, it’s Carolla.
Loved Alison today–she was on point.
What dance song was played in the beginning when discussing the “Weiner Factory?” Haha, great episode
Putting a dog down is very hard but in many cases for more humane then forcing them to live a shitty life.
Damn…..Alison is hot!!
