jesus—boring
Yeah it was…but it shows you how far the show has come. I forgot how annoying and whiny donnie was…so glad it changed.
Mind your own fu***in business…..and go pick you nose somewhere!!!!!
Listening to this is like listening to Adam interview a guy doing an impression of Paul Schaffer. But, it was kind of sweet hearing the two of them sing Gene McDaniels together.
You are a looney!!!
if you wouldn’t have said that I’d probly have never noticed, but it does sound like someone doing an impression (impersonation?) of Paul Shaffer!! I don’t particularly remember that from the first time I heard this, not that I would……
wow, it was a bit difficult to listen to & Paul going gaga over Brittany was a bit embarassing. I mean don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Brittany (lmao) but then again I’m under age 50. Maybe it’s a thing, you can’t like her if you’re between say, 40 & 60. But other than that, have at her!!
I believe he was being sarcastic about Britney Spears. He said she didn’t even know who Bob Hope was. I think Paul’s really dry in his humor and personality and I think he was basically just fucking around the entire interview.
Wow, first the Kimmel interview where we got plenty of audio of Donny slapping his keyboard and mouthbreathing in what sounds like an active subway tunnel, and now Paul Schaffer? You guys are really putting the hard sell on those archived volumes! Bust out the Mike Rowe, Mike Tyson, Chris Waltz, et al?
Who are they ?????
hey “tony,” STFU already!
Thanks for the peak back at assembling the Pirate Ship.
Enjoy your well-deserved vacation. And GET IT ON at the track!
Paul is cool. I wish I could see that picture of Brittany Spears… Lovitz’s hanger turned into a theater? — Paul is fucking HI-larious, (he likes hairy scrotums)…. He needs to be on here more!—
Who was interviewing who?
was hoping for peter north today…. oh well, i bet we’ll hear him before the week is over.
Wow, most condescending and un-funny guest ever. Paul, please pull that big-apple-on-a-stick out of your butt. You’re still just a musical monkey-boy for an over-the-hill talk show that’s coasting into a legacy of mediocrity.
So cut the name-dropping hipster attitude. Nobody’s impressed, and you haven’t been “edgy” since Artie Fufkin.
Next Story…Next!!
Awesome interview, loved it
Great interview and a marvelously prodigious scrotum
YES! This is the classic episode I was waiting for! THANKS!!
How about a replay of Jack, from Jack in the box????
That is my favorite episode. I still have it on my Ipod. He actually gets jack to say “so you don’t want to get head any more?”
3/12/2010 Kevin Nealon was a guest host. That was very entertaining to listen to someone try out podcasting. Why not have a guest host next time.. someone who hasn’t hosted a podcast.
Why would you choose this as a great episode no one gives a sit about the band leader of a show no one watches
These are some classics. This is when the show was young, the sound quality was soooooo bad. The one with MacFarlane and Shaffer are great.
Paul Shaffer is one boring person to interview.
I cannot stand Paul shaffer, seriously painful
Maybe you have to be a man of a certain age to appreciate Mr. Shaffer? I don’t know, but I really dug this interview. Found it anything but boring. How can you not respect the arc of his career? And you’re not getting Paul’s whole shtick if you think he sincerely respects Britney Spears — a big part of his persona is ripping on old-Hollywood or the Rat Pack tossing around “love ya baby” at lesser, questionable talents.
Kick this ass for a man!
Gotta love Paul. He’s a funny cat.
Long time fan of adam. Maybe its because I’m in my 20s, but I’ve never been so bored with Adam’s work. Less dinosaur interviews please.
Gorog is a palindrome, not an anagram.
You’re welcome.
