Show Summary
At the top of the podcast, Adam tries to get the crew all on the same page after a lot of food fighting the last couple days. Neil deGrasse Tyson then enters the studio, and shares his thoughts on vegetable medleys, the way science touches people’s lives, and getting people to care more about science. Later they discuss the evolution of the ‘nerd’, Dr. Drew’s obsession with Flat Earthers, and the idea of ‘simulation theory’. After Adam and Shek’s ‘Good Sports’, Adam gives an update on the sale of the Newman watch and takes calls about his dog Phil, girls who cut themselves, and Rich Man / Poor Man. Gina then reads news stories about pending indictments against Harvey Weinstein, LiAngelo Ball arrested in China for shoplifting, and the first openly transgender person elected to office. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about Uber’s deal with NASA, the list of highest paid TV hosts, and Barack Obama reporting for jury duty.
