Show Summary

At the top of the podcast, Adam talks about one-uppers and taking someone up on their offer to let him stay at his house for the weekend. Adam then gets the fan who made the offer on the phone, and they also listen to a clip of Adam and Rob O’Neill discussing the difference between full-automatic and semi-automatic weapons. Adam then talks about the status of the toilet street behind the studio, and brings up a news story about three corpses that were found two blocks away. After that, they talk to a caller who got into a fight with a Starbucks barista, and play clips of Mayor Garcetti addressing the homelessness crisis in Los Angeles. NBA legend Elgin Baylor is in studio next, and Adam chats with him about the early days of coming into the league, why our nation is so obsessed with sports, and how the game has evolved over the years. They also talk about cross-country travel in the 50s, a crazy experience when one of his team’s planes crash-landed in a cornfield, and Wilt Chamberlain’s reputation with ‘the ladies’. Gina then begins the news with stories about San Francisco begging to have their streets cleaned up, and Prince’s doctor fined for prescribing him oxycodone. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about a restaurant offering a 200oz steak, a company trying to preserve your brain to let you live forever, and the Top 10 Companies people want to work for.
