Adam opens the show talking about the interesting venue he performed in over the weekend, as well as a backstage toilet mishap. Adam also comments on the history of Boston, the Three Stooges, and why airplanes shouldn’t serve asparagus to patrons. Lisa Lampanelli then calls into the show, and Adam talks with her about building and performing her new one-woman show. Later, Adam has more complaints about bad airplane food and why all planes should have a sleep channel.
After the break, Bald Bryan reviews the new Edgar Wright film, The Worlds End, for this week’s Baldywood. Adam then rants about coffee shops needing a line for people who just want regular coffee and nothing fancy. Next up, Alison starts the news discussing the state of emergency in CA because all the TV and film productions are going out of state where taxes are lower. The group also talks about Alec Baldwin’s new baby girl. As the show wraps up, the guys watch footage from the VMAs, and discuss the casting choice of Ben Affleck as Batman.
