Show Summary

Teresa Strasser joins the show next, and makes an exciting announcement. The guys also look back on their old terrestrial radio days, and Teresa presents a new segment called ‘Parents of the Week.’ As Teresa leaves, Jordan Morris and Matt Zaller step in to talk about the ‘Tour de Thrillist,’ and the experience of stunt flying and vomiting.
Alison starts up the news with more updates on George Zimmerman’s upcoming trial. They also talk about a controversial photo of Pippa Middleton, and a bizarre new extreme diet. As the show wraps up, the group talks about a creepy hologram debuted at Coachella, and one of the tricks Jennifer Love Hewitt uses to attract men.

I’m relatively new to the podcast (3-4 months) but seemed like a test drive or a change in the show. A lot of guests and a lot of bits. No offense but this was no better than any small market “Morning Zoo” radio jocks.
Less guests, more depth. : )
Very apprehensive seeing T on this summary, will listen and see what’s going on, but she is the true definition of a no talent. Really hope she’s not a regular again.

I got hooked on the Adam Carolla podcast towards the tail end of the Theresa Strasser era but I remember liking her a lot. Today reminded me why. What’s not to like? She’s beautiful, got a great sense of humor, smart & quick wit, great voice, and most impressive of all she is a kind person. I was riveted listening to her guest appearance on The Mental Illness Happy Hour and was reminded that all we humans suffer on this earth one way or another regardless of how ostensibly together we seem. Alison is also very impressive just not quite as polished yet, but she’s getting there. With Alison I just want reality and experience to hurry up and cleanse her of some of that destructive naive left wing nonsense that often afflicts the young and brainwashed…uh….I mean idealistic.

Yup! Im from the beach in Florida and have seen many turtle nests wash away when there is a big storm, the mama turtle HAS to bury the eggs way up the beach.

I forgot how funny T is! “I’m all nose and ears.” Haha, she always clicked well on the show. Alison will never be that funny, she’s a little too goofy and sophomoric. I like her in her own way, don’t get me wrong. But T is irreplaceable. Glad she’s gonna be on the show every week. She also knows what kind of news stories to bring. Alison just brings headlines for the most part. But T beings in wacky offbeat interesting stuff that she knows Adam will have a good reaction to.
So good to hear Teresa’s voice again. She is going to be way too busy for a full time gig but would sure be nice to hear from her more often. She is a natural. On another note…tell Alison if she will change her sign off phrase I will follow and support her podcast but for now I just get pissed every time I hear zip it XXXX. You are better than that Alison…move on to something more appropriate.
