Adam is opening hour two with a loose and yelling mandate to get it on, possibly with a nut in his mouth, Bruce jokes about stepping on jokes and what happened in the last hour.

Bruce brings up his love for ‘the Offspring’, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan when trying to brag about his kids and the “reverse parenting” situation he has going on.

Adam is now mocking Bob’s song and his whining delivery in general and now going off about Maggie’s farm, Bruce is now sharing the risk he took playing that song after going electric.

Adam is now on his riff about the song, hilarious one liners.

Bruce brings up Neil Young, he’s still not bringing up his all-time favorite album, as he told Dan Finnerty from the Dan Band and Mike Carano during ACS #258 Live from Ontario (feat. Ralph Garman, Frank Stallone & Jim Florentine) which is ‘Paul’s Boutique’ by ‘The Beastie Boys’.

Bruce is now playing some Neil Young for Adam, Adam is now mocking himself for being one of the weirdoes who expects a lead singer to be able to sing, and he notes a couple songs he likes by Neil.

Adam is now praising ‘The Jayhawks’ as the good version of Neil Young, Chris is now playing some of the popular songs by them, he selects the 2nd one and it’s Adam’s favorite of course.

They listen to almost all of ‘Blue’ by ‘The Jayhawks’.

Adam and Bruce are now praising John Hiatt as Adam mocks the typical Springsteen and Mellencamp style lyrics and notes John Hiatt’s intellect and fun he has with his songwriting.

Bruce wants to hear ‘Perfectly Good Guitar’ and Adam wants to hear ‘You May Already Be a Winner’ and Adam is now adding some light commentary on the musical progression and styles all in one song.

Adam calls the song “tidy” and praises the brilliant message it sends about enjoying the love you have in your life and living a good life instead of the good life.

Adam is once again mocking “lonesome highway and your daddy don’t like me” lyrics, Bruce asks if the resentment is based on his wife’s love of Bruce.

Adam is now ranting against ‘Groovy Kind of Love’ and Phil Collins worst 80’s pop hits.

Bruce brings up the time John Hiatt worked Adam and Drew into a song live, Classic Loveline #576 to hear a post-concert glow fan-boy Adam, Bruce was at the concert with them?

Adam has a killer impassioned rant about bad 80’s music and the millions of times you’ll hear ‘Flock of Seagulls’ vs. this rarity B-side by Hiatt that5 was never played, he then defeats all arguments about most people not being sophisticated enough to enjoy smart music.

He manages to tread some new ground in this rant and argument and actually make some super simple yet profound points about the stuff we are bombarded with and how much of our brain space and time it wastes without our consent.

Adam is doing a Draft Kings Live Read.

Bruce gets Adam to plug Mangria and reveals they rejected his families ‘Limonecello’ recipe, Bruce gets Adam to reveal Drew’s preferred Mangria flavor.

They’re heading to break.

They’re back from break.

Adam is now setting up another Jayhawks song, a cover of ‘Grand funk Railroad’s’ song ‘Bad Time’ and Adam throws Bald Bryan under the bus and the probable but hypothetical argument he would have against them, thought I think BB likes them and has said so, someone should google “Superfan Sidebar Jayhawks” and find out.

Adam shares his love for ‘The Simpsons’ and mixes up a few years of the show, citing the anecdote of the time he recommended the show to his mother, the “that’s your opinion” story.

Adam is lamenting the lack of experts for art and comedy, he now says fuck you to his mom and everyone who argues against him not being a comedy expert, his opinion is superior and he’s right.

Adam is now sharing the “Jon Stewart on Oprah” story and mocks his mother’s use of VHS tapes until they dissolve, he cites their muffin conversations that seem to span all of time.

“I’m in comedy! Mother”

Bruce has a great reaction to Adam destroying him by simply having met him and knowing him as a peer and onetime Loveline guest.

Bruce acknowledges the pathology and agrees with Adam’s question and lack of an answer “What’s in it for me” and he jokes about Bruce saying it’s almost like a Jewish family, Adam says cept they send people to college.

1st Caller Bret, he wants to know about taking walks and Adam’s dad love of the, citing his argument that anything his dad does is nonphysical.

Bret or Brett, takes his answer off air and Adam loves it, gold!

Good Caller.

Adam is now bringing up an old buddy who he used to walk with, now he’s bringing up the book he wrote with Dr. Drew in the late 90’s, Adam is now strongly in defense of walking and Bruce agrees and mentions the trapping of modern exercise plans and how extreme exertion is not necessarily required.

Adam now wants the song ‘Charm’ by ‘The Wild Colonials’ a Classic Loveline guest from 1997, a band Adam seemed to really love but sadly isn’t in the archive, they were reportedly fun and rowdy guests too, bummer.

Adam explains how he never leaves the house for a walk without a buck slip as he gets idea, he tries to eyeball the measurement and gets the actual answer, and he’s barely off but chastises himself for not being perfect.

Adam says he loves chick led bands, he cites his soft spot for several of them, I love this song, it’s great.

They are now playing the song and Adam is offering up live commentary, Bruce says it reminds him of Linda Ronstadt, Adam acknowledges their Loveline, the only bits we have are what he recalls in his brain, whoa!

Chris is explaining how he loves that song, Chris asks how he heard of that song, Adam explains he heard it on KROQ in the mid 90’s and then they guested on Loveline.

Adam is now mocking ‘Bullet with Butterfly Wings’ by ‘Smashing Pumpkins’ and the various eras of KROQ and their programming.

Adam is now doing a live read for ‘A to Z’, the new comedy series on NBC.

Adam is getting some plugs for Bruce.

Adam is now calling for the song ‘Another World’ by ‘Hoodoo Gurus’ and says KROQ fucked up and played this in 1989, some quality music for a change, Adam is now doing live commentary and explaining what he loves about their sound and this song.

Adam says this song has a great ending and unfortunately they have to listen to the whole thing, it rocks!

Adam once again proclaims himself a time travelling alien sent back in time to be annoyed, Chris shares his opinions on these songs and how they keep getting better building toward a strong finish.

Adam is now ranting about ceiling fans without led lights and a hot glue gun he used that was sans led light as well, he wants everyone to be smarter and mocks their one penny savings that helps no one.

Adam is now wrapping up the show and thanks Bruce.
