Adam opens the show to a solid intro and a funny clip of Akbar showing off as today’s #TopDrop and Adam asks him for a baby update, Christie is a week late.
Adam welcomes Jo Koy to the show and tells BB he might want to put the baby off a bit longer after he hears the doozy of a story he has for them.
Adam is talking about going to an air force base over the weekend for the races, Jo reminds him he lives on bases as a kid and Adam says Gary Sinise’s band played and they were very good.
Adam sets up some racing footage from the weekend, he has a funny sound effect he makes with his mouth when the car competing against him passes him on each lap.
Jo is now voicing the other motorist, hilarious impression of the driver mocking Adam as he laps him, gold!
Adam says the person next to his AirBnB was a huge protestor against people using AirBnB in neighborhoods, Chris is on mic and Adam asks him what he yelled as they drove off.
Adam says his impulse is to get out of the car and group beat down the old guy to teach him a less and to never do that to anyone again.
Adam is now reading the sign protesting AirBnB, Adam is now sharing how he has noticed almost every AirBnB he’s stayed at belongs to a divorced woman, Adam wants people to put the pictures down so guests aren’t forced to break down the picture of your broken family.
Maxipada is telling them about what they watched in the hotel room, Adam was telling Chris about the competitive football program at Cal.
Jo is now busting out some D’Brickashaw Ferguson and/or Marshawn Lynch, Adam is now riffing out of saying “they got worse” which Jo calls him on, solid!
Adam is now using “the brothers” and says he didn’t use euphemistic language to explains that Cal didn’t have many black players back in the day, now that they do they win.
Adam was talking about players dropping the ball in the end zone, Chris then played him the ending of the game the next morning where that exact event took place, Jo is now reacting to the comedy of Adam’s bizarre inverted prediction of a game.
They’re watching Vic Enwere drop the ball before he reaches the end zone from the NCAA Cal vs. Texas game over the weekend.
BB brings up DeSean Jackson doing the same thing during the McDonald’s all-star game and Adam knows it so well he interrupts him and mentions the McDonalds link.
Gary has some other info and thinks it may be another game.

Adam brings up Kobayashi the competitive eater and his history with hotdog eating. Jo Koy’s famous impression that began back on the KLSX Radio Show in 2006.
Adam is teasing the after party for the Emmy’s and how elaborate and grand of a bash it was supposed to be, Adam packed up the car and the tools to head back from Coronado to make it back in time for the party, Adam was going to give away the plus one for the party and he chose Matt D’Andria and made him the designated driver.
Upon arriving home Adam took a nap and Lynette also announced she was going to nap, Adam was upset as he woke up in another city and she was just chilling at home all weekend.
Adam says Natalia kicked in the door and was wailing, she came bursting in the room after she somehow got her finger caught in her hover board.
Adam says there was blood everywhere, Sonny was a heap of tears and didn’t know what to do and he and Lynette were asleep just seconds prior to this chaotic scene erupting around them.
Adam describes what looked like Natalia’s nail sticking up the wrong way or exposed without nail over the bed.
Adam is describing Natalia’s insane whaling while they tried to Triage her on the scene, Lynette was discombobulated by the chaos and Phil was trying to jump up and scratch people while Sonny was also losing it.
Adam was monitoring the awards and after they soaked her finger in ice water for a bit he checked on it to see if it’s no longer bleeding.
Adam hates the emergency room as 9 out of 10 times it ends with them redoing the work you already dead and some ridiculous proclamation about what you can’t carry on doing tonight, Adam has a funny list of possible activities they might warn you to avoid, Jo chimes in with a funny addition or two as well.
Adam says the pain was subsiding a bit and he kept trying to examine what was actually going on with the finger but any attempt to get a better look at it or “pinch it” wtf? Would result in extreme whaling from the patient.
Adam eventually decided to take her to the emergency room, they X-Rayed her hand and the tech dropped an “oh boy” which Adam knew meant something was badly wrong.
Adam explains he had to call Matt D’Andria to let him know that his night of fun was no longer on the table.
Adam is sharing how they had to remove her bandage and he insisted she shoot up her hand to numb things so he could save them the ear related trauma and help protect the local bird population that would be harmed by her decibel output.
Adam reveals they had to call in a hand specialist as the bone was protruding through the skin and Jo loses his shit and interrupts Adam telling him he’s an idiot for wanting a smaller bandage for the broken finger.
Adam jokes about how he should’ve been standing next to Roy Scheider in ‘Jaws’ and he’s saying he would be suggesting they perhaps get a smaller boat, classic!
Adam is describing the gruesome broken bone that was popped up behind the nail, making it look like the nail popped off, everyone reacts in horror, this episode is on fire!
Gina is amazed Natalia didn’t go into shock and Jo wants to know how Adam is still a father, he says he doesn’t like Adam anymore after he blamed not having his glasses for being unable to spot the bone.
Adam says the head doctor came in and said he thought he could get the bone put back in place, Adam says they had her head turned the whole time and Adam was having her talk about her dog as the doctor pushed the bone back into place without her being aware of the insane manipulating going on with her bones under her fingernail.
Jo is now showing his compound femur scar and he jokes about seeing the bone marrow and his dad putting a bandage on it then asking for a smaller one.
Adam brings up Kobayashi again and finally Jo busts out the impression, telling him he thinks he sucks and he demands to know why Adam loves his children equally before they riff about the Emmy Awards after party where Kobayashi was partying with “Billy” (Bill) Simmons and eating insane amounts of sushi.
Adam is now trying to get Jo to pronounce some various names and they talk about James Babydoll Dixon who was excited to meet the cast of ‘Game of Thrones’ and he comments on them not being so talkative.
Jo knows James as James sans the “Babydoll” nickname.
Adam is devastated he missed the party and he was at the hand surgeon all day, Jo suggests Adam get rid of his broken daughter.
“Where do you send her? Who cares? (evil chuckling)” – Jo as Kobayashi
Adam asks if Kobayashi has a daughter and Jo walks back in, sending Kobayashi off for some water, another layer to the theater of the mind thing they do, weird.
Castrol
“You guys looking at bearings?” – Adam
Gina has a question and Adam says go with the best oil you can, Castrol Edge.
Q and Ace
1st Caller Brandon, he’s got a daughter and Kobayashi riffs about Brandon dropping the wife’s belly at the fire station.
Jo says next time his wife says “what did you say!?” he takes her and drop her off at the fire station too, Jo is now joking about his own kids and he works Castrol into the riff.
Brandon is worried about the name they chose for their daughter, Brooklyn which is a super popular name.
Adam would like to put into a hopper the amount of time our parents put into thinking up our names, everyone else’s parents had a combined 6 minutes of thought put into it.
Adam jokes about his dad trying to tell his buddies, if he had buddies about his name choices for the kid.
Adam has a killer “Calypso Band” riff talking about this guy Martin he races with from time to time, he invited Adam over to his RV.
This was Saturday, fresh off the heels of his dad needing an Uber/Goober ride to the hospital and he describes how Martin’s RV was fully decked out, it turns out the RV was his father’s and he gave it to him.
Adam is sharing how pissed he was at the relative difference and contrast between their fathers, Adam says when you’re poor and downtrodden you put the same value on time for everyone else that use for yourself.
Adam is asking Matt how many conversations they had about getting an Uber for his dad, Ray had to call Jim to get him to pick up and go outside to meet the driver who had been honking and trying to alert them.
Adam says his dad was probably sitting around reading something and asks what father you would prefer, a Winnebago with your team’s livery or an old guy who can’t hear a horn from outside his home.
Adam gives out the plugs and Jo steps in to finish it, just once for a change.
They head to break.
They’re back from break, they have a listener voicemail asking if Adam is going to leave his new Porsche in red or restore it to the former Apple Livery.
Adam shares how a guy was commenting on Adam’s new Porsche purchase and then brought up the Apple Livery unaware that was the very same car Adam now owns.
Adam welcomes Milana Vayntrub to the show and she has a funny comment about her name, either referencing the caller Brandon and that topic or the previous guest and she listened to the show.
Adam is joking with her about not being able to comment on her story arc on ‘This Is Us’ and Adam gets right to the topic of the bombings as a smooth as silk transition, nice one Ace!
Adam is asking if she ever gets together with other commercial actors, they joke about Jared Fogle after Adam asks if they ever go visit him in prison.
Adam shares his own “where do I know you from?” reactions from the public, Milana has the very same experience and on a larger scale due to the amount of impressions her face gets via the advertisements.
Adam tells them about not being able to get into ‘Game of Thrones’ due to the dragons and comments on Babydoll’s fandom for the series.
Adam gets to the topic of drunk people recognizing you and Adam asks if high people want other people to be as stoned as they are much like drunk people try and get other people hammered.
Adam asks her where she hales from and he has a killer “do you know a guy named Mark, I don’t know his last name” reply.
Milana talks about why people immigrate to the United States and she makes some great points about the human right to prosper and be a woman in our society and many other appealing factors.
Adam is asking Milan about her mom the nurse and he shares how Natalia reacted to the nurses, she loved them and they were kind to her, Adam suggested she should become a nurse and she admitted she wasn’t that nice nor could she keep that façade up for so long, she wants to be a bitchy lawyer type, wow!
Adam is talking about the woman moaning down the hall, sounding as if she was giving birth to an anvil, Adam asks Milan what kind of nurse/mother her mom is.
Milana asks what is wrong with Adam’s dad, he sums it up saying he’s not proud of him, wow!
Adam says his grandfather wasn’t impressed with his success until he was booked on ‘Hollywood Squares’ and Milana is telling them about her work in the advertisements, she doesn’t fear being typecast or shutout of work for doing commercials.

1st Story is on the capture of the man behind the bombings in NYC and New Jersey, she brings up the Minnesota Knife attack in a mall.
Adam says we’re going to have to have grounded sky marshals at this point, Adam talked to a Sky Marshall who told him not to say anything but they were on fewer than 10% of flights.
Adam says you’re happy to have an undercover cop in his civvies when things break out and someone is stabbing shoppers in a mall.
Adam says when they spread things out that’s when the real terrorism begins, not everyone lives at Ground Zero.
Adam says terrorists want to rack up a body count and Milana brings up how Islamic extremists play into stereotypes and want to encourage people to become anti Muslim to then convert more Muslims.
Milana is adamant in her feelings about the terror alert put out for the suspect, she says that’s how you cause real trauma and that’s what leads to dangerous situations for innocent people, except none of that happened, he was caught.
Adam is standing with his stance that they’re are trying to kill the largest number of people possible, Milana doesn’t know and Adam thinks the goal is to get a body count and she says she doesn’t know.
Gina comments on the story and suggest a two prong/step process, Milana is not disagreeing with Adam nor is he disagreeing with her.
Adam shares his prediction about the presidential race and how the only thing that could jeopardize it would be some late 2nd quarter and 3rd quarter terrorist acts.
2nd Story is on Jimmy Kimmel’s well received Emmy Hosting duties, with many people claiming it was their favorite iteration of the awards.
Adam shares his reaction to ‘The People vs. OJ Simpson’ which BB insists is trashy TV, a guilty pleasure and Adam didn’t see the entire series, he doesn’t like revisionist history of the series, He keeps saying Jesus Christ and even plays the “I think I’m playing crazy pills” drop.
Gina has a clip of Jimmy Kimmel talking to Marcia Clark from the stage, delivering some hilarious quips.
Adam reached out to the guys to tell Jimmy that Adam says he did a great job, Adam talks about him being a little tipsy after the party ended somewhere around 03:00 A.M.
Adam is now having Gary read his email that he sent to Jimmy the following day at 12:03 P.M. and Gary is reading it, nice email!
I presume this is to once again showcase how on top of things Jimmy is and how quickly he replied in spite of his late evening and very busy morning full of well wishes and great reviews.

Adam is back to the timing, he has everyone guess how long it took this time, BB says 2 minutes, twice as long as last time, Milana goes with 1 minute and she’s the winner.
Adam says he thinks he means a lot to Jimmy as Milan suggests jokingly and then gets serious and he says that Jimmy is this courteous and kind with lots of people.
Milana suggests he has an assistant sending emails for him, Adam busts out the David Viscott impression and he’s now having BB go back and not power down the Cul-de-sac of life, Adam misses David Viscott who died in 1996.
Adam is now describing the A.M. Radio of the 1990’s where doctors and therapists dominated the radio waves.
Milana says LoveLine was the daytime A.M. radio for her, allowing her to experience the same feeling Adam described.
Adam as David Viscott and Milana have a funny back and forth improv scene and Gina wraps the news.
