Adam opens the show with a great “Who Loves you Baby?” intro and BB has a Dr. Bruce ‘Resveratrol’ #TopDrop in light of him being scheduled to call in as Dr. Drew was unwilling to risk some of his developing projects by commenting on the current Hillary Clinton health scare.
Adam is commenting on the “New World Order” that is keeping people from being honest, he says you can’t blackball people who disagree with you or present facts you cannot handle.
BB agrees along with Gina and BB says he doesn’t blame Drew for not commenting on this, he says it may be paranoid or it may be outrageous but it could be accurate and his feelings are real.
They all mock Bruce for not having any pending “deals” to ruin and Adam is having the gang help him set up an early review from his days at ACME (The Two Roads Players, pre ACME Theatre) and he notes we never could locate a copy of the Tom Shales ‘Man Show’ review from the Washington post.
Adam is going over how big the review was for him and his improv/sketch group. It’s from 1990 and BB is amazed Adam was doing sketch comedy that early, did he think he started with The Groundlings in 1992? Spending years there and then spending years at Acme before KROQ in 1994?
Adam is now reading the review and how they targeted writer Warren Sorich, he thinks they’re talking about his performance as he doesn’t finish reading the review, possibly due to the aged paper BB just remarked on, they didn’t transcribe it for the Aceman?
Adam goes on to read the rest of the review where it clarifies the comments about poor Warren, Adam is now making a point where the review from The L.A. Weekly got preachy about comedy honed in the workshop vs. that banged out on a typewriter.
Adam mentions the classic “Skipper Nedhiem” (Nadheem?) bit that Adam has briefly mentioned in the past, Adam is now telling them about the blue collar guy sketch and shares the premise that was cited as the “honed comedy” but was purely banged out on a typewriter and not even edited nor modified in anyway, 1st draft!
Adam is now breaking down the Skipper bit and explains the premise, hilarious adventure burials and sport fishing tour, hilarious quotes from Adam regarding Gus wiping your tears away.
Adam says he was laughing about the notion of Gus being a “defrocked Jesuit” just the other day, he also found his social security statement from 1980 – 2003.
Gina comments on the lack of 0’s in the tax statements, Gina misses the larger incomes brackets and BB mocks her for “nailing it again” and she asks Adam about why his income dropped in 1990.
Gina has a brain fart and stops reading saying she’s a mix of famished and flummoxed, cobbling them into a portmanteau.
Draft Kings
Adam explains how he was able to support himself in 1990 when his Grandma paid him to put a kitchen addition on her house, he worked under the table for $10 an hour.
Adam is joking about being back on the road to “poor ass highway” and Dr. Bruce joins them, he has a solid Neptune Society callback joke aimed at the news about Hillary.
Health Watch with Dr. Spazz (Bruce)
BB gets him with the theme song and Adam doesn’t step on it, for those that enjoy this long running “joke” and now Bruce is going in depth on Hillary’s health and the prism glasses, Adam has a funny ‘Foreigner’ joke/reference that BB tags nicely.
Bruce is very concise and fair about what these signs indicate to him with is expertise, Adam compares being a politician to baking akin to being like a mafia boss who needs to get treated behind closed doors and can’t risk media exposure.
Adam comments on how this leads to people getting worse or dying, he asks Bruce if she should have been taken to the emergency room, Adam is now breaking down the game film and trying to make sense of the decision.
Adam is going beat for beat through her options and why they would choose to avoid a hospital and allow someone to go to their daughter’s house.
Gina asks how much can be done from a private residence, Adam says less cover-up more an attempt to keep a lid on this and not let it get overblown.
Adam comments on the hypocrisy of how they cover Trump vs. Hillary, the media will punish you for talking about Hillary and reward you for saying the same thing about Trump.
Adam has a killer Dawson has genital herpes analogy, Dawson gets on mic with a solid tag, hilarious!
Bruce is back on the topic and goes over what Pneumonia does and the types that exist, BB gets in another resveratrol drop and BB asks if these symptoms are consistent with Pneumonia and he agrees strongly, he blames her intense schedule and work demands.
Adam is now asking about long-term health possibilities and Bruce congratulates Adam on his new car while Adam tells him to enjoy pulling rebar out of Mexicans.
Q and Ace
1st Caller Gary, he’s a Superfan and tells them about listening to the show in the mornings, he has a problem with one of the guests, he brings up Milo Yiannopoulos and BB has a solid “Ohhh Gary” drop from ‘Weird Science’ which Adam says he would like to hear brought more often and a little less ‘Vacation’ and ‘Caddyshack’ worship.
Gary has an example of what people would do if he made the comments he made about Leslie Jones about Gina Grad, Adam is now making a great point about people needing to get attention to make money, citing Ann Coulter and standing up for Milo and his right to be speak his mind, even if he is trolling or saying something horrible.
Adam is sharing his sticks and stones mindset, he doesn’t think jokes, stats nor violent video games encourage behavior.
Gary ends up agreeing with Adam and mentions his love for ‘Reasonable Doubt’ and Adam asks him for a recent case, he tells them about a client who believes the F.B.I. is monitoring him.
Gary is now sharing how his client used a change belt to assault a stranger he believed to be monitoring him, Adam is talking about “pockets of sanity” after Gary describes this client not being cleared unfit to stand trial.
Adam cites Gary Busey and his nuggets of wisdom mixed in the endless river of bullshit he delivers and they wrap up the call, Gary was great!
Life Lock
2nd Caller Thomas, he gets interrupted by Adam with a good Mike August story, he says he got James Babydoll Dixon laughing good about it as they worked together for so many years.
Adam is now talking about trekking in NYC with August who was telling Adam about taking the train into the city, he told Adam about selling his old car to a gal who worked in the trade center.
August was never concerned with looking up if the girl survived, but he was worried about what happened to the car, Dixon spit out food when he heard it.
Gina still can’t wrap her head around August getting out of the car to beat up a guy who kicked the side of his car while on the freeway off-ramp.
They’re back to Thomas who is telling them about the family of his girlfriend, her parents and siblings are all over 500 lbs. and a mess.
He wants advice on breaking up with her, Adam tells him to be honest and to tell her that whatever feeling he should have isn’t there.
Adam describes his horrid 3 dudes in a one-bedroom apartment situation after he moved out from home, you have to tough it like you’re in the 3rd world.
BB has a funny line and they wrap up.
3rd Caller Vanessa, she tells the gang about her daughter’s high school removing a program for athlete students that allowed said students to get homework done at school during a free period, now they’re required to stay until late in the afternoon to do the same workload.
Vanessa is pissed about this and Adam tells her to take her sing songy voice to the principal’s office and set him straight.
Adam teases the arrival of their guest the Ariana whose father was Telly Savalas, they play a clip of Telly advertising the ‘Player’s Club’ card which Adam often saw as a child stuck living in poverty, nothing was further away to Adam.
Adam heads to break, they have a nice new stinger with Dawson playing clips from other Carolla Digital productions.
They’re back from break with Ariana Savalas singing, it’s delightful!
Adam gives out some plugs and asks her about getting into the jazz standards at such a young age, she tells them about her father and how he was 65 when she was born.
She jokes about BB and his bald head giving her flashbacks to her late father, Adam asks her about her father’s body of work and if that in some way allows her to feel closer to him.
She mentions Yul Brynner again and Adam is now recalling a sport bar in a Sheraton that was named after Telly who lived in the hotel above it.
Adam is asking her about living a hotel and she’s describing this insane Howard Hughes esque lifestyle, Ariana explains how they were forced to cook in the bathroom before they put in a sink.
Adam recalls cleaning carpets at that spot and going to the hotel for some KROQ events with Jimmy Kimmel back in the day.
Adam is now breaking down the layout of the hotel that Ariana lived in, BB brings up Ariana’s father connection to the Rat Pack and other heavy hitters of the era.
Adam is sharing how Ariana does Jazz standard interpretations of modern rap music and other fun stuff on her YouTube channel and she tells Adam about her show and ‘The Post Mortem Jukeboxes’ and she has a funny line about Hillary Clinton’s health and her career.
Castrol
Adam is describing the hole that was blown in the side of his car’s engine that Sonny reminded him of, Gary has a #CastrolChallenge from a fan asking if Adam could talk his wife through an oil change.
Adam is trying to breakdown how that would go and Gina steps in with the legalese.
Ariana says she can barely turn on her car and Adam says there is no reason women couldn’t do an oil change, it’s the easiest car service possible.
Gina’s News
1st Story Is on the San Antonino Mattress store that closed down in the face of criticism of their 9/11 mattress sale ad.
Gina plays the commercial and describes what happened after the public reacted to it.
Adam is now joking about realtors and other people he needn’t see; he describes the horrific face butchered plastic surgery couple from bus advertisements.
They’re now talking about the ‘Sit ‘n Sleep’ radio ads featuring Irwin and the catchphrase “YOU’RE KILLING ME, LARRY!!!”.
Adam warns Gary he might get mixed up with Irving the Jewish Cowboy, it’s a song but they correct him that it’s Irwin.
Adam says he doesn’t want zany around his mattress and doesn’t get why it’s a national thing that pops up in every region, Adam wants a consulting firm where people run every idea by him first, Ariana has a funny poop emoji reply that Adam adds tears to, hilarious!
2nd Story is on the other NFL players who have followed Colin Kaepernick’s footsteps and are also protesting the national anthem/flag.
Adam is talking about the false narrative of the black lives matter movement, he brings up real world stats and how cops approach different groups.
Ariana makes a point about nonviolent encounters where black men are murdered without being armed or posing a threat, Adam agrees with her but makes a point about frequency of interactions and uses first dates as his analogy to make a quick point.
Adam is now talking about the actual stats on weapons and police interactions, he says cops shooting unarmed citizens is an insanely low figure, he brings up the big to small issues and the violence in black communities.
He says you could save 40 lives with police intervention and that cause, you could save thousands by helping with the black on black crime.
Ariana makes a point about holding law enforcement to a higher standard and Adam makes it clear he totally agrees, she’s right.
Adam brings up Ferguson and how it was not the narrative that was sold by the media, Ariana brings up Minnesota which was egregious and Adam agrees.
Adam brings up the guy who was gunned down in the hallway of a hotel or a house as Ariana calls it, nice laugh from Ariana in response.
Adam wants to have a truly honest dialogue and he brings up Rahm Emanuel who suggested increased police presence and gun control in response to two young men who executed an old man on his lawn in broad daylight.
Adam says if we have people walking around thinking this is a good idea, then we’re not safe with cow bells or anything else that can be wielded to harm someone.
Adam has a killer Molotov cocktail to burn down a Costco and cool ninja crossbow plan that BB remarks is almost needlessly detailed unless he’s trying to recruit someone to pull it off.
Gary has the info about the killing in Chicago, Ariana asks the suspects age and the status of the gun even though Gary just said they have not found the suspects yet.
Adam is now talking about satellite problems and the planet problems they orbit, he says family is the planet and everything else is the satellite.
Adam is now talking about the real world stats on fatherless children in black communities and reaffirms the false narrative of black lives matter, the parsley on the plate of serious issues.
Ariana agrees with Adam and makes a point about gun violence and cites her relationships with police officers and respect for them while saying she would like to be a gun if she wanted to, she wants it to be a right but would like more hoops required to get one.

Adam is crushing a funny riff about her living in hotels and they move on.
3rd Story is on a Mount San Antonio football player who knocked out a referee, she plays the clip and Adam says they have an explanation that Adam thinks might have been possible, he says the coach describes his player who has a habit of whacking himself in the head after messing up.
Adam is now saying he punched himself in him (his) own head, see.
BB is commenting on the clip and they all further give their opinions, Gina cites ‘The Revenant’ and Adam has a killer “tears of my gi” riff and jokes about punching everyone in the head.
Adam says Tom Brady will whack his head against his own teammates and BB cites a quarterback who head-butted a wall and concussed himself, Adam thinks he injured his back of neck and they find out it’s Gus Frerotte and Adam brings up the Gramática brothers and they wrap up the NFL unintentional injury talk.

Gary is putting some money down on Trump to win, trying to recoup some funds edition
Gary moans into the mic edition?
They play the Bill Gramática celebration fail and all reaction to the injury, Adam tells Ariana about his kids and plugs her website and music.
Adam says every song is enjoyable when you see jazz music live, the kind she performs anyway.
Adam is giving out some more plugs and he wraps the show to his hilarious “Donald Trump had a baby’s arm growing out of his asshole” quote from the talk about the hypocrisy involved in talking about the republican male candidate’s health vs. the democratic female candidates.
