Adam opens the show to a topical #TopDrop from BB for at least one listener, very cool.

Adam is bringing up how weird it is when your friend become super famous and you still think of them as just your friends, Adam brings up the Emmys and how they moved the awards to a Monday night because football is that powerful.

Adam is trying to read the information that Gary is giving him, Adam is trying to discern if Bill Simmons won an Emmy for ’30 For 30’ and he’s telling the gang about the screening of ‘Road Hard’ and his desire to visit with Jimmy’s newborn baby.

Adam is explaining that Jimmy was too busy and he had “Emmy Rehearsal” and now Adam is riffing about how odd that excuse is and how it can only be used by so many people on earth, Adam explains that Babydoll is doomed to pay for 4-5 meals that nobody is going to eat running up James Babydoll Dixon’s Amex card.

Adam says the waiter is always down for it and explains why, he also comments on how funny everyone finds it but how it goes up against his hatred of waste.

Alison is asking if Babydoll has ever tried to quit smoking and Adam is now riffing about the facility that Jon Stewart sent Dixon to and Adam predicts his Amex card will be on fire tonight.

Adam is joking about Babydoll’s chances to have an Emmy winner, his 3 clients are nominated.

Adam is telling them about their first case of the homeowner attacking the contractor on camera, he’s explaining the scenario and what went down.

“I changed my mind motherfucker!” – Adam quoting the marine on marine violence.

Adam is now telling them about a shitty Toyota with duct tape that has aged into decomposing white cloth, Adam riffs a new model name and BB jokes with him about it.

Adam is now bringing up the “Toyota of Long Beach” license plate frame and how car dealerships should check up on owners every 6 months to make sure they are putting their best foot forward, they don’t want these duct tape cars as mobile advertisements.

BB is now asking a grander question about the durability of cars and people keeping things on the road well past the expiration date.

Adam is lamenting the bygone coat hanger as an impromptu car antenna days of his youth.

Adam is now setting up another horrible 80’s song and he’s listing off some recent mentions, Adam is now mocking the ‘Sex Pistols’ and BB has a killer hype man riff.

Adam is now doing a Reverie Bed live read.

Adam is working Jodi and Lynette into his read about the latest cut of the Paul Newman doc that couldn’t lure Jodi out of the amazing bed.

Adam is now having BB play the song and Alison wants to know the name and the band, Adam is the only one that recalls the track, but he’s not naming it.

They’re still playing the song.

‘AEIOU sometimes Y’ by ‘EBN OZN’

BB is reacting to the video and Chris gets on mic to give his take, now Adam is getting the chart results for the song.

Q and Ace

1st Caller Justin, he makes a “Bobo Boys” reference to Alison Rosen’s podcast, He wants to know about Adam flirting with female guests on Classic Loveline, they’re now riffing about Topher Grace and he is telling them about the 1998 episode with Chris Penn, the only guest he hung out with after the show.

BB remembers that Tommy Lee took them to the same bar, which must have been the 2002 appearance.

Classic Loveline #925 from 1999-04-15 – GUEST: CHRIS PENN • HOST: ADAM, DR. DREW

And the return to the “Cop Bar”

WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 2002 GUEST: TOMMY LEE • HOST: ADAM, DR. DREW

Classic Loveline #192 – Jim Carolla 06/24/1996

Adam is explaining the story of how he got stuck in a riptide or current while at the beach and getting rescued by the lifeguards while his dad was on the beach with his uncle Vince completely aware of the danger his son was just in.

Adam is now riffing about his dad and his #1 hobby of walking, Adam is mocking the idea of your dad having that as a hobby and how lame it was.

Adam is explaining they would dig a hole near the chairs of his dad and Vince and how they (Adam and His sister?) would cover them like makeshift pongee pits.

3rd Caller Brad, he’s got a pregnant wife and just attended birthing classes, he’s now bringing up the encouragement required to help his wife, Adam is arguing about all of the natural pre birthing classes’ births and going off on the cottage industries that pop up around every natural process.

Adam compliments Lynette for not buying into this stuff.

“If I mom could have kids, anybody could have kids, dumpsters could have kids” – Adam on his inherent knowledge about life processes and how people only get nervous because it’s them, remove yourself from the equation and you’re just a statistic.

Adam explains that “we’re different means we’re better” and is inherently more narcissistic, Alison takes it back to Brad and Adam has a killer reply to what he told Lynette, BB gets a nice assist in too, good stuff.

Adam is now ranting about the industries surrounding “nervous whitey, with too much money and narcissism lying around” and he’s now taking it to Sonny’s corrective helmet scam.

Adam is now further waxing poetic on the pain of childbirth and the natural process, from the extreme of birth in the wild and the connection that pain creates between a child and a parent, hilarious “vagine and anus became one” and BB loves that Adam’s first mention of a woman’s sacrifice for childbirth is not drinking for 9 months.

Adam wants to know the demographic for these classes and says that making a big deal out of an even for months leading up to an event, is not a good way to go about things.

Adam is once again referencing CarCast Live! Plus Paul Newman’s 300zx On the Dyno and how he scared himself inside the car a week before the race, he said he went to the race for the first time scared and doesn’t think the lead up helps in anyway.

They’re now watching clips of Adam describing this process.

4th Caller Alex, Adam is back to the Dyno process and they’re watching more footage, Alison is giving her reaction to that noise the car is making and Adam is explaining how he psyched himself out and he’s now back to Lynette and the twins and how she was a champ the whole way through.

Adam is back to Alex, he turned 21 yesterday and wants suggestions for missing his birthday, Adam is bringing up the story of his and passing out in an alley on a box spring before a day of digging ditches.

They’re back from Break.

Will and Daniel are making their ACS podcast debuts, Will was on the KLSX morning show on September 6th 2007, Adam is plugging their new movie “Life of Crime” and he’s asking Dan about this project and how he got it all started.

Adam has a funny joke with Will and Daniel is telling them how he adapted an Elmore Leonard novel on spec, he was able to put together this epic cast and Adam is asking them how they came to know each other.

Adam is reacting to the idea of an offer for an acting job, his response to “we’re looking for an Adam Carolla type” and why they should just go to the person.

Adam is praising ‘Nebraska’ and going in depth on the “once you start it, you don’t turn it off” reaction the opposite of his reaction to close up magic.

This has come up with Michael McDonald several times, I think he might be the guy in the apartment.

Will is telling them about being seen by Lorne Michaels while working as a writer on other sitcoms, Adam has a killer “Pigeoner” one liner and now Will is trying to describe the scene that they eventually tried on SNL and never seemed to work after that one night that Lorne saw him doing it live that fateful night.

Adam is asking Will what happened after that and how Lorne Michaels ruined his summer vacation in Europe by asking for him to come audition.

BB praises “MacGruber” and gives it and Will some more Compisults inadvertently.
