Adam opens the show to an ‘Emerson Lake and Palmer’ intro delivered by Dawson and as BB points out clearly written by Lynch, BB says there is no more “Lynchian” intro than that.

Adam is now quoting some ELP lyrics and he talks about missing the weird Proggy Rocky stuff, BB has a drop of Adam saying “I’m a fucking soft piece of shit pussy” and Adam says they’ll find the ELP song and BB says they will not.

Adam is talking about the people who tweet things at him like “for someone who doesn’t like Luck you sure talk about it a lot” and BB has a funny example and Adam tells people to fuck off, he’s right.

 

Adam is now teasing the arrival of Robert Herjavec and Adam says he should be dubbed ‘Mr. Wonderful’ and Adam says he loves ‘Shark tank’ based on the notion of reality on realities terms.

Adam is mocking the outrageous requests from some of the creators who always work their personal feelings and angle into the pitch, it’s all about numbers and units.

BB and Gina both chime in and talk about the show and how it plays out.

 

Adam is making a point about personal belief and facts on a spreadsheet, Adam says you can assign the person a success amount but maybe not a dollar amount but you know “this dog hunts” and Gina tells them about how long they actually film and BB plugs ‘Beyond the Tank.’

Adam says you should have your kids watch the show to learn about life and business, he talks about the two Asian gals from a specific episode.

Adam says he remembers Robert as he drives in the North American Ferrari series where he drives race prepped Ferraris, he explains race preparation to Gina and BB who pretends to know.

 

Adam is now explaining how that’s different from true races and he says that challenge series races are meant to be as close to the showroom car as possible and he describes what a spec series race is.

Adam says Robert won rookie of the year and is recalling some trouble he had while racing, Gary has some in car footage of him crashing and BB comments the dark clouds on the horizon that Gina pointed out earlier.

Adam is telling Gary that the crash footage he picked was much better and asks why he picked this one instead.

 

Gary has the reveal it was 37 mph as Robert hit the tires and Adam is talking about gription with race cars, he explains the role that sand and grass can play when it comes to traction, sand helps gripping and stopping ability.

Adam now has the clip of Richard at Sonoma, Adam is now commenting on the speeds and proving live play by play, Gina asks about the “clunk, clunk” noise at the end and BB says he was going 60 – 0, Adam says when you lose it in one direction you can start to lose it in another.

Adam is bringing up the conversation from the Patrick Dempsey segment of the Paul Newman doc, they talked about a guy who died at Le Mans and just died, he almost saved it and then went straight into the wall.

 

Q and Ace

1st Caller Ira, he prefaces his question with a preamble about not pre-ambling as he was cut off last time, he wants to know why Rich Banks has never guested on the show, Adam sings his praises and cuts Ira off when he tries to talk about his childhood and connection to the song ‘Tragedy’ and Mike Dawson sets up a rarely played gem.

Mike Dawson has the song about Mike August ‘Mike’s Tuning Out’ and BB says he has his own favorite that we haven’t head in a while, Adam cuts him off after finding out from Dawson that it was a coincidence he played this while August was in the building.

BB has the song aimed at Gary, the ‘Jet Airliner’ parody about his jacking off while in a 1st class pod, Adam is now bringing up the mid to high 80% of dudes who have beat off at work.

Gina says he’s had all kinds of negative things happen since starting the show, you just don’t bring that stuff to work with you, meow!

 

Adam says it means putting things to the side to be a professional, he says speaking of pussies and he shares how Lynette pulled out a video of her or Natalia playing the harmonica for Molly to then howl at.

They then showed the phone to Sonny, Adam tried to stop them and knew he would cry immediately and then he did exactly that, Adam says that you can’t put that in a person, they are wired that way or not.

BB is now playing Sonny in a funny improv scene after he suggested Adam take him down to a homeless shelter to show him the wide range of humanity, Adam is joking about some people only making a fraction of his income.

 

3rd Caller Jessica, she’s calling about her parents and says her mom has always used her to complain about her father and confided in her.

Jessica has pressured speech, she’s 30 and in therapy dealing with her codependency.

Adam talks about divorce and he jokes about Sonny reacting to his eventual divorce and how traumatizing that must be for kids.

 

Adam says that the ultimate selfishness is a willingness to sacrifice your kid’s happiness and life for the sake of being free of the other adult person you had said kid with.

Adam tells her to extricate herself and says she shouldn’t dance, don’t dance to their retarded pan flute.

They’re back from break with Robert making his ACS debut.

They play a ‘What Not to Watch on TiVo Tonight’ intro and Adam plugs Robert’s book, he says the two seminal moments that boosted the rating of ‘Shark Tank’ were when Snookie tweeted that she loved the show, the other was when he crashed into the wall.

Adam is asking him about the Ferrari series and if they make you buy the car, Adam is guessing what kind of car it is and Robert tells him about the modifications and how it’s a ground up built car, the lights don’t even work but sure are expensive when they break.

 

Robert talks about racing the Formula 4 and then moving up to Ferrari, he talks about the 300K price point and explains that’s only the start of it.

Adam is now ranting about ‘Drive’ and he mocks the “tread on the tire” scene, BB tells Robert not to disagree with Adam and implies he can’t do that, yeah right.

They have a funny riff and Adam jokes about his velvet glove treatment.

 

Robert is telling them about is father and how he would get arrested for anticommunist comments after getting drunk.

Robert shares his father’s objections to communism and Adam jokes about The Jackson 5, Adam asks Robert how he got to where he is.

Robert shares a car story and tells Adam about the first time he saw a Yugo, Robert says that one single interaction with his father taught him to love cars.

 

Robert is telling them about his largest business a cyber security firm, Robert explains it’s really their money they invest on the show ‘Shark Tank’ and how his friends even doubt him still.

Robert tells them about doing the show for 7 years in the states and they did it for 2 years before that in Canada.

Adam is asking Robert about his favorite cars, he talks about the sensation of speedy in older cars, Adam says it’s akin to being pushed down the hill in a shopping cart, at 30 mph you will experience speed and crap yourself.

 

Robert says they he drove the Ferrari at Daytona and Adam talks about how you can stay flat around the entire track.

Adam says Racing is like golf and boxing, all of your natural instincts are bad.

Adam talks about turn 2 at Laguna Seca, Adam says he loves the corkscrew and hates all the other turns, wow.

 

Robert mentions his time on ‘Dancing with The Stars’ and Adam asks how he ended up in the wall at Daytona, he reveals the car was totaled and that he’s gone through way more than 3 cars since starting his racing venture.

Adam talks about Dr. Drew and his leftover anxiety about money from his father, he quotes Dr. Drew saying his dad was a product of the depression and Adam says his mother was the product of rape, so what.

Holy shit, with the mysterious background of his mother, his grandmother and everything else that’s a frightening and plausible scenario.

 

Adam is recalling going to Ivan Reitman’s house to write some screenplays, he says this is circa 1999 and he shares how he told people to picture a 55-million-dollar house and he comments on him having an amphitheater.

Adam says you can go to Beverly Hills in 1999 and see a lot of really cool houses but this was something different.

Adam says use your money and chase your passion, Robert says that in North America you need to get enough money not to be taken advantage of, Adam jokes about strapping kids down ‘A Clockwork Orange’ style to make them view all of ‘Shark Tank’ and Adam says this business currency is all that will get you through life.

 

Adam says that school doesn’t prepare kids for real life and expresses his “teacher loser theory” where teachers are shamed by finance and it’s not on their game to talk about this, like a fat guy talking about diet and exercise.

Adam is talking about lazy a teacher is, Adam is making great points and Robert talks about these people having kids and the real divide in this country.

Robert talks about humans being wired to avoid risk and misspeaks saying he’s the most risk adverse person, he says least as he was just making the counter point with a hypothetical situation.

 

Robert talks about how he feels as an immigrant he needs to do better than the average person, Adam asks if you can imagine what the school system would be like if Mark Cuban and Mr. Wonderful in control of the school system.

Adam goes on about how much different things would be and they move on.

 

Gina’s News

1st Story is on the new head of the TSA, she shares the speculations for his removal and the details on the TSA issues plaguing the country.

Adam is now sharing his experience with Salmon cable when he got his first house after being hired for LoveLine, Adam is going over all of the details about what it was like dealing with them.

BB has a hilarious improv scene with Adam as the Salmon cable jerk and BB as Adam or some other random douche calling to get his cable hooked up.

 

Robert is chiming in while Adam sarcastically asks why people don’t try hard, ala Cable busting their ass after the real completion of state lite revulsion hit the market.

This is a very fun bit, with Robert as the rational straight man role.

Robert asks Adam how they fix the TSA and he asks why he has to take his laptop out, he says he’s less than zero percent chance a terrorist, Adam jokes about him blowing up one plane to get back to just even/zero percent.

 

Robert has a great “let me through, let me through Adam” that BB is hoping he got a clean delivery of, wow that will be used as a drop, a lot.

Adam talks about the precheck system at the airport after BB brings it up and Adam talks about how much of a pain in the ass it was when he had to go to the airport to sign up, BB says that was the same for him.

Robert mentions the crazy lines at Chicago and Gina mentions the O’Hare airport and how busy it is.

 

Robert recommends we all go back to a horse and buggy, Adam goes into a live read.

2nd Story is on David Hasselhoff’s claim that he only has 4k to his name, Gina has the details on David’s possibly hidden fortune and Adam says he should have money, he just doesn’t’ want to pay her.

Adam asks how long this must go on for, he asks Robert about the level one is accustomed to, Adam wants a catch weight number for alimony and he jokes about chinchilla sushi and riffs about it being our Robert’s budget.

BB mentions CPK and Robert asks what one is, he is told its California Pizza Kitchen and he says he loves that place.

 

Adam doesn’t get why one must be forced to grantee wealth for an ex-spouse and Gina asks about him trying to lie about his wealth, BB says this is the alimony equivalent to flopping in the NBA.

Robert asks Adam if David owns the KITT car, Robert is now talking about the model of car and Gina has some details on one of them being auctioned off.

Adam is talking about Seth MacFarlane’s replica DeLorean from ‘Back to the Future’ which Adam calls “Back in Time” and he says the DeLorean story is better than the car.

 

Robert is telling them about buying a Rolls Royce Phantom from 50 Cent, after he first made a bit of money and he says he thought it would somehow increase the value, it did not.

Adam is bringing up 50 Cent’s claims of bankruptcy and Gina asks about 50’s Vitamin Water deal and Gary brings up the backstory of his alleged bankruptcy and how it relates to a sex tape leak.

Gina wraps the news and Adam is asking Robert about the Phantom he bought for 300K, he sold it yrs. ago for about 150k.

Adam is now mocking his investing strategy and BB has ‘In Da Club’ for a few beats.
