Adam opens the show to “Letter G” themed intro, BB plays the “Everyday Damn Night” drop from the theatrical version of ‘Weird Science, Adam welcomes Gina to the show, she coughs off mic but audibly as Adam plugs the Newman documentary.

Dawson has a nice Complisult for Adam after BB and Adam riff about Adam’s phrasing and delivery of the plug, Dawson says it looks like an actual documentary.

Adam is telling them about John Lassiter joining the movie late in production, Adam was unsure about adding his interview to the movie, John offered to provide everything else and saved Adam from himself.

 

Adam is sharing his “let’s try this” approach in the edit bay vs. the experts who refuse to try things outside of their wheelhouse or expertise, Adam is now offering up a “The more you know” and says “knowing you know is a very valuable asset, Adam is sharing how you should always be in the mode to try things without pretending to know things in advance.

Adam is now introducing a new mashup, he says that Gary was watching a clip of Ray Lewis giving an impassioned plea to the young men of Baltimore asking them not to riot.

Gary then mashed it up with a soft song, using some ‘Cats in the Cradle’ as the base for the mashup.

Adam compliments Gary’s fine and fast work and makes note of the “ball” lyric and how that is fitting for the Ray Lewis connection.

 

Adam is now welcoming David Wild to the show and interrupting himself to talk about the experts who can’t say anything re: Baltimore civil unrest, Adam is now mocking the fake discussion on Drew’s CNN show.

Adam is mocking the “you must acknowledge ___” type of reporting, he comments this is why Fox news trounces CNN, and they have strong opinions, whether you agree or not.

Adam is mocking the “this community need to come together” please and nonsense, David is addressing the use of the term “thug” and Adam is bringing up his discussion with Dr. Drew about CNN and breaking news, he told Drew about avoid racial issues as it only results in a nothing conversation with everyone too afraid to open their mouths.

 

David comments on the ‘The Sixties’ series on CNN and Adam comments how attractive it is for him to see these decades broken down into digestible chunks.

Davis is commenting on his drastic 50lbs weight lost between the ‘The Sixties’ and ‘The seventies’ CNN pieces.

This is coming close to David’s 100th appearance or it’s just past it, once I can manage to get another 10hrs working on the archive and re-labeling files (he was uncredited a couple times) I will have the exact count of appearances, hopefully before he hits his 100th so we can make note of it, if we haven’t missed it already.

David jokes about his goal to be thin by the eighties or nineties CNN specials.

 

 

Q and Ace

1st Caller Matt, Adam messes up the pronunciation of his city, he compliments ‘Road Hard’ and wants to know about Adam’s IMDB entry about him being an excellent cook.

Adam says his wife taught Olga how to make the Chicken Paprikash and he’s now joking about “dry rubbing” people the wrong way by sharing his theory on men having “bigger fish to fry” than in the kitchen, they all mock his horrible puns.

Adam says there is nothing that he “brings to the table” his 3rd pun and says that everyone else can do better than him, akin to his take on home brewing.

 

Adam is commenting on the parts of the internet where people contribute information about him, Gina was unaware of the Crohn’s disease entry on Wikipedia.

Adam is talking about his childhood options for food and how canned and frozen food is much superior to the stuff he was eating at home.

Adam is now mocking French bread pizza, Adam asks David what he’s doing in studio and has Gilbert join them without taking a break.

 

Gilbert is making at least his 4th appearance on the show, after no showing last September for ACS #1417 with David Wild (David’s 75th episode) and then making it up in October with his actual 3rd visit.

 

Adam has Gilbert sit down and plugs his podcast on another network, Gilbert plugs his patreon too and all of the other stuff he has.

Adam, proposes that Gilbert is now a caricature of himself, BB plays a drop of Elliot Gould mentioning Gilbert, and Adam is now interviewing Elliot via his drops from the live show.

Gilbert is now joining him and they are peppering him with anal sex question, Adam is now suggesting an Elliot Gould magic 8 ball that looks like his head full of blue liquid, Gilbert has a funny line about the answers getting stuck on the corners of his head.

 

Adam is asking Gilbert about people who know him but don’t know where they know him from, BB brings up ‘Problem Child’ and Adam describes him as ubiquitous like mold, he’s always been there.

David claims that Gilbert’s show is his 2nd favorite podcast and has a funny self-deprecating one liner comparing himself to Gilbert’s less than hilarious co-host.

David explains the premise of the show and the types of people they get for interviews (adult diapers) and David brings up an interview with Shecky Greene and Adam demands to know how old he is, 89.
Adam is now doing another lap with the Gould drops, Gilbert is delighted and joining in, great “Who’s on first” reference and Adam brings up the old Jewish actors who played Indians on ‘F Troop’ and now Gilbert is joking about being on the cast and does an impression of what he would be like on the show.

Adam compliments the show and comments on the lack of native Americans in SAG in and now Gilbert is filling them in further about the nature of his show, even commenting on a yet to be released episode with Michael Oliver the now adult child co-star he had in the first two ‘Problem Child’ movies, oh man I gotta hear that!

Adam is asking him about Larry Storch and other actors of his era, he wants to know if anyone is bitter about their lack of a career after what made them famous.

 

Gilbert tells them about having Butch Patrick on, Gilbert tells him about having Danny Bonaduce on after Adam mentions the “first drummer from the partridge family” and David brings up the great episode Gilbert did with Bill Mumy.

Adam is now riffing about the actor who played the drummer on ‘The Partridge Family’ and the replacement guy who looked completely different.

Gilbert has a killer one liner about the ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ and Adam jokes about them being different races.

 

David informs them of the death of Suzanne Crough the youngest daughter on TPF, she died earlier in the day and Adam somehow went on this riff without being aware, Great Magnet!

Gilbert says that Danny Bonaduce confirmed for him that David Cassidy would stick his dick through a chain link fence and gets sucked off by ravenous gals waiting for him outside of his house.

Gilbert jokes about missing his chance to book her, Adam has a funny August one liner.

 

David connects the dots and tells Gilbert about the year in 2007 where Danny Bonaduce was forced onto the Adam Carolla Show on KLSX by Jack Silver, the comedy expert who famously has an eye for talent.

Gilbert is telling them about James Babydoll Dixon pretending to hang up on someone else to flatter him, Adam is now commenting on the side by side of the two drummers on TPF.

Adam is joking about that side by side being used by shows and casting departments to keep actor’s egos in check and let them know they could be replaced at any time.

 

Gilbert brings up the lost brother on ‘Happy Days’ and David lets a dig loose on ‘Problem Child 2’ which some argue is vastly superior to the first, myself included!

Adam is now asking Gilbert about the SNL reunion and he says it was like Al Hirschfeld drawing, they move onto a funny ‘Bewitched’ back and forth and Gilbert tells them about running into adult Miley Cyrus after starring on an episode of ‘Hannah Montana’ when she was younger, she asked if he wanted to do a tequila shot, he was enticed but ultimately decided against it due to him being a stereotype of himself.

Adam says he would have done it just to say he did, Gilbert is riffing about loving free food and BB jokes about a love child between Gilbert and Miley.

 

2nd Caller Matt form Nepal, he’s out there trying to help and wanted to call in, Adam is now asking when we start a class action lawsuit against skype.

Adam has never had a good experience, I’ve recorded over 500 Podcasts over skype without an error, so…

Adam is now telling the gang about earthquake rehab work and how reinforced concrete is the superior way to build to survive earthquakes.

David has a killer one liner about Adam explaining masonry to Jewish people, Gina shares a key detail about Nepal not even having “developing nation” status.

 

They lost Matt, Adam says bad news his car was crushed, good news it was a Suzuki.

Adam is saying that masonry is the biggest reason for the devastation in Nepal, Adam says it’s all about flexibility over brittleness.

Gilbert is now sharing his limited knowledge of “crumple zones” and Adam is explains how they developed such idea from racing, he plugs Matt’s cause and asks fans to contribute.

 

Adam is now sharing how the problem in San Francisco was the double decker freeway, they wrapped columns with Kevlar to resolve it.

David asks about the cost and continues the funny cheap Jewish guy riff, Adam is now describing how you wrap these columns and keep them from collapsing.

Adam is explaining this is why steel does so well during earthquakes, Gilbert brings up a bridge that fell apart, The Tacoma Narrows Bridge in WA.

 

Adam is describing how sonic convergence (aeroelastic flutter and forced resonance) and now saying it’s called “harmonic convergence” and Gina suggests that as a name for an A Capella group.

 

3rd Caller JT, he has some questions about boxing, he asks how to find the right gym to train.

Adam says that an old black guy who calls everyone champ at the entrance and weird signs with common sense things like “no spitting” and jokes about a sign saying “rub down from scrap iron for 10$” and now Adam says that the nicest guys in the world are boxers.

Adam talks about the gyms work on a bell system, Gina asks why and Adam explains the rounds reasoning for the bell system.

 

Gilbert brings up an episode of ‘Car 54 Where Are You’ and Gary has found the clip, Adam is wrapping up his explanation for how boxers are kind and without the ego of a regular gym.

They’re now watching the clip from the show with Rocky Graziano and Sugar Ray Robinson, Adam is singing the praises of Sugar Ray Robinson and how boxers inevitably get into tax problems and are forced into fighting in their later years.

Adam is now arguing in favor of young black guys in the 40’s who were sons of sharecroppers perhaps already having paid off their tax debt by just starting out so far behind everyone else, instead of trying to ruin them how about forgiving the debt, you got enough, he’s paid in more than he owes from before he ever started fighting and winning purses.

 

Gilbert is riffing about every old black fighter having a grill of their own, Adam has a killer Dwayne Bobbitt, and they’re watching the footage of the bridge swaying now, David has never seen it before.

Adam is commenting on a person rushing back to get a dog out of a car, Adam jokes about how this is an act of god and he wouldn’t attempt to save a dog in that situation.

1st Story is on the young man rioting who was caught by his mother, Gina is playing the clip and Adam is commenting on where he got his violent tendencies.

Adam is doing live commentary and joking about putting on a hoodie and chucking rocks being perhaps not the wisest idea to lead a long life.

Adam is tapping into his Loveline training, these young men who are beat by their parents then become violent, it doesn’t nip the behavior in the bud, it makes it worse and causes most of society’s ills.

 

Gina brings up the Oriels game that is set to be played without anyone in the stands, no crowds nor fans, a game played to nobody.

David has an update and Adam jokes about the super long boring baseball season, how about they don’t make it up at all, just lose one game.

Adam jokes about putting a dodger up Vin Scully’s ass like a joystick, Adam is now suggesting that Jews should take to the streets in protest of the hotdogs at Dodger stadium, David has a funny “terrible food and in such small portions” type anecdote, very funny!

 

2nd Story is on employees of Bumblebee Tuna being charged in the negligent death of a coworker who was baked alive with fish.

Gina has the details about the incident from 2012 and the charges the employees face, Adam jokes about it being dolphin safe but not Mexican safe, Adam has a nice “how dare you” in reply to Gilbert’s harsh one liner.

BB asks if he was crushed by the 12k pounds of Tuna and Adam jokes about the “there’s a problem down here” call to Bert the plant manager that day.

 

Adam says his problem would have been the wasted tuna that was cooked with the dude, Adam would’ve been walking up and down the line asking the workers if they have a pet cat at home, if the cat likes Mexican flavored food.

Adam predicts that someone must be suing someone, like a civil suit.

Gina asks if Adam has figured out if he’s going to the Pacquiáo vs. Mayweather fight and how the audiobook deadline might fuck him out of going on the private jet to attend the fight.

Adam says he has 210 pages of book left to do, his only day to do it is Saturday.

 

Adam is asking Gilbert to do his audiobook, Gilbert says his audiobook was torture and now Adam is trying to work out the math of his schedule, he thinks that he might be fucked.

BB asks him about doing a podcast from the flight instead of doing a studio show, Dawson is now suggesting they come in late Friday night and go until 3-4am, Adam says his voice starts going out and he starts getting double vision.

Dawson is trying to help, David talks about the delay on the audiobook only enhancing sales with Jews.

 

3rd Story is on the latest ticket prices for the fight, Adam says that Jimmy owes him 8k, he means he owes Jimmy?

BB talks about his audiobook and how it even taxed his voice, forcing him to drink tea, Adam jokes about telling someone from the Donner Party about his trials recording audiobooks over their arduous ill-fated journey.

 

4th Story is on Chinese funeral strippers, she explains the concept and credits Gawker for the story.

BB is now laying in a music bed, Gina proceeds unperturbed, it’s the low-key acoustic ‘Cherry Pie’ by Rich Banks, the wunderkind who does all of the ACS themes and various songs.

Adam is now riffing about trying to do a Stripper DJ bit at one of these funerals, awesome!

 

5th Story is on a glass vibrator that can hold the ashes of deceased people to then masturbate with the charred corpses of their dead loved ones.

Adam is saying that the terrorists are right and she shares the “21 Grams” soul weight idea, BB brings up the movie and they move on.

6th Story is on Tom’s Diner the Suzanne Vega song, Gina is unfamiliar but Adam did a duet with Suzanne on Classic Loveline #464 – Suzanne Vega 07/09/1997

She’s telling them about Giorgio Moroder (people mixed up my twitter, thinking it was his after the last Daft Punk albums came out) remixing the song with Britney Spears vocals, they’re now playing the new version, Adam asks if we need him or her for this cover song.

David has no comment, Adam says you like the original version but not the remake and he wants to do a flying punch into the throat of anyone who says they like it.

 

David mentions the Beach Boys theme for ‘Problem Child’ and now Gilbert is doing a live in studio cover for them, nice!

David brings up the music video with Gilbert and John Stamos and they joke about not being able to tell Gilbert apart from John, Adam is now demanding they see the video.

 

Adam and David are riffing about the Beach Boys disowning this video and song but not their affiliation to Charles Manson, gold!

 

7th Story is on the creator of the show ‘Blackish’ being hired to adapt the TV series ‘Good Times’ into a feature film for Sony.

Gilbert has a solid ‘Damn, Damn, Damn!’ and Adam is commenting on black people remaking movies with black actors taking over roles previously played by white people.

Adam says this should be an all-white cast and turnabout is fair play.

 

They have the video, they’re now playing it complete with movie clip introduction.

Adam comments on Gilbert’s body of work and he tells them about the 3rd ‘Problem Child’ movie and David shares how his adopted cousin Debbie views that movie as something like ‘Shoah’ to her and now Gilbert is telling them about doing an episode of his show with the writers of the movie who claimed it was based on a true story.

Gilbert is now telling them how it was originally framed to be more of a horror story, Gilbert has a killer laughing reaction to Adam’s earnest comments about the realities of adopting a kid and the things that kid must have endured to be up for adoption.

 

8th Story is on the “Wanksy” campaign in the UK by a man who is circling potholes with penis graffiti to make the city finally fill them in.

Adam jokes about the police horse that was tagged, Adam asks when we admit society is over and we start anew, Adam calls this an indicator and uses the example of alcoholism and how people talk about their rock bottom as the equivalent of the razor wire around the freeway signs.

Adam says that the Mayor needs to clean the graffiti off the horse’s ass, not the poor Mexican guy they have doing it.

 

Adam mixes up his words and uses “authority” over respect, BB plays the funny one liner from Adam during the top of the show where he jokes about the things people would like to say about the unrest in Baltimore but can’t.

Gina is a huge hockey fan and wants to know why the other players get so aggressive when someone from the other team gets in proximity to the goalie.
