Adam is opening the show with a “6 years and going strong” intro, BB plays Adam’s impression of his daughter as today’s #TopDrop and Adam shares a new impression of a less than enthusiastic Sonny not into the zip line after last night’s show.

Adam says he found his son crying in his room moments later after a couple half attempts on the zip line, Adam welcomes BB, Gina and David to the show.

Adam is commenting on how he learned how to ride a unicycle almost by accident, David is asking about Adam’s dad Jim’s era of getting laid.

Adam talks about his dad being a “fixer upper” who needed guidance from women and attracted ladies who needed to fix/save someone but couldn’t handle a junkie.

Adam jokes about taking his whole family out based on a comment from David.

Adam brings up the Sinatra documentary and the iconic shot of JFK Jr. saluting his deceased father while wearing a skirt of some sort.

BB mocks David’s ability to namedrop people he’s never met, Adam is talking about the skirt further and everyone is weighing in, Adam says that’s what he got out of the Sinatra doc and demands a picture of Bruce Jenner from ‘Can’t stop the Music’ and brings up David’s work on the TV land awards.

Adam is now commenting on Bruce’s photo with his ballsack being levitated by the jeans, Adam suggests bidding it adieu and David’s reaction is priceless when the image first comes up.

David is praising Terry Crews the host of the awards show and now asks the gang about their favorite TV show theme songs.

Adam gets to pick two and mentions ‘Quincy’ which David appreciates, they play the theme and shares his take on the disparity between the theme and content of the show, hilarious “handicap van to handicap van” one liner.

Gina picks ‘Webster’ after name dropping her runner ups ‘Car 45 Where Are You’ and ‘Family Ties’ both great choices.

“What were they the white family that adopted the black dwarf?” – Adam asking about the plot of ‘Webster’ and BB brings up the theme from ‘Duck Tales’ and thinks David is unfamiliar but he claims to know it.

Adam is mocking BB and BB claims Jimmy wishes he could write this song, Adam is saying it’s very 80-‘s and the song was carved in his brain when it was very soft and missing a tumor.

They’re now playing David’s theme song as he’s trying to give his favorite.

David shares that the lack of a line mocking his weight made him appreciate his song, it didn’t take the easy dig., and David is now sharing an anecdote from meeting Danny DeVito who he’s inferring is much shorter than him, different troll union?

David tells them his favorite is ‘The Courtship of Eddie’s Father’ and tells them about a reunion of ‘Freaks and Geeks’ along with the casts of ‘The Wonder Years’ and ‘Ally McBeal’ and now further praises Terry Crews.

Adam tries to get BB to play his 2nd choice, instead of ‘The Mod Squad’ they play some of ‘Murder she Wrote’ and Adam reveals he doesn’t like this show either, just it’s theme.

David asks about bringing Quincy Jones into the studio, Adam is talking about ‘The Brady Bunch’ and ‘The Partridge Family’ and they move on after a comment from David.

Q and Ace

1st Caller Harrison, he wants Adam’s take on “Affirmative Action” and says he’s making his 2nd call into the show.

He’s explaining the nature of this thins he’s writing for class, Adam says he likes the notion and would like it to be based on pure economics and not race nor gender.

Adam brings up his attempt to become a Los Angeles firefighter, he explains his reasoning and lack of regard for himself as a motivating factor.

Adam explains he was still living at his dad’s house when he finally got the letter confirming his tryout date, Adam says that in 2015 he doesn’t need complete balance, he names the NBA and LAX TSA as other examples.

Adam talks about the lack of non-white camera operators and how he doesn’t need the industry to force change, just be open for anyone who wants to get a job to be fairly considered.

Adam talks about the lack of Asian electricians and now David is sharing how his son got into Berkeley and UCLA despite not fitting an ethnic profile.

Adam thinks that Asians arte discriminated at certain schools due to their abundance of populace at said school, Gina gives her take and now Harrison is making a key point.

Harrison says you now see Asian and Indian students rejected from college due to the school’s attempt at “diversity” which has now add new possibly uglier racial implications to affirmative action and college admissions.

Harrison then takes it to a “stupid doctors” twist which BB and Adam enjoy but then wrap up with him, Adam is bringing up Sinatra talking about growing up and his family’s bar using an Irish name due to historical racial prejudices.

Gina asks Adam if he thinks the ship has been righted, he says no it will never be, he’s now using slavery to make a point about the various hardships of every race of people.

Adam is bringing up the message of the United States where people can immigrate and prosper despite/regardless of where they were born and what circumstances they had to endure before, Adam wraps up his point.

Adam is doing a Croissan’wich live read

Gina asks if David had a small tear running down his face as Adam described the sandwich, David agrees.

2nd Caller Stephen, he compliments Gina and her physique, he then takes it to David’s physique and mocks him in the way we all knew was coming, BB loves it and Adam jokes about David reducing down to a training bra.

Stephen is asking them about a friend who was trying to buy a house, he saw an ‘American Flag’ outside of someone’s house and was suspicious of what might be going on, and Stephen explains his friends reasoning.

BB loves Stephen’s use of “Julio” and now Adam is waxing poetic on the United States and the controversy in celebrating being American, when it became so uncool and everything else became more chic.

“Rape everyone in the house” – Adam on the subtle messages of things like a “Don’t Tread on me” sign, David is now telling the gang about his son’s car being broken into and his subsequent call to the police where they seemed hesitant to assist or do their jobs in any way whatsoever.

Adam is now explaining how his dad almost played “possum” in life announcing he was a bumbling mess who you didn’t want to interact with nor count on for anything.

Adam talks about his parents convincing him that they were useless by the time he was 11, Adam is now sharing how he was so deflated by them he wouldn’t even bring home the picture day packets.

Gina comments on his parents doubling down on not caring, he tells them about his sister running away and him eating at his friends’ homes which made it win/win for his parents.

Adam says that LAPD are now doing the exact same thing as his parents, refusing to function and Adam uses the case where the guy lied about a gun being involved in the theft of his laptop that led to the police killing of an unarmed man, as has been discusses on the show in depth several times last year then the year prior when the shooting happened.

Stephen goes out with a bang yelling “Gina(‘s) Got Boobs”, David confirms Gina’s impressive bust and cites a selfie they took for his Instagram.

3rd Caller Mark, he’s a big fan and in the process of re-reading BB’s book, he’s a solid caller and he’s asking David his take on ‘The Beastie Boys’ and he recommends ‘Paul’s Boutique’ as we all know Dr. Bruce’s favorite album of all time.

Adam still seems to be judging them for their first record, the one that least defines their musical catalog, they’re all accomplished musicians who can play various instruments when they choose/chose to, as many of their fans have surely tweeted to Adam about.

Mark wants to know how Adam thinks his career would’ve gone if he had great success early on with his standup, Adam says his brain is far too pragmatic for him to entertain “what if” scenarios and he’s explaining how he understands it’s not the money that ruins your life when you’re poor, it’s the mentality.

Adam is explaining how he never even went to see the schools he could have gone to, let alone respond to their letters such as the one from Marshall Texas.

David has a killer use of “head of the spear” that could be construed as a sly racial joke, BB of course implies that and shares his wife’s super depressing quote about LL Cool J being a “real man” and even Gina lets out a “wow” feeling some sympathy, David of course seems to agree with her and is totally cool about it as he is most things.

Adam is commenting on various cultures that prepare their kids for achieving via a mindset, regardless of race, income or location.

Adam comments on how Ray, Chris and he all had letters trying to recruit them to various colleges, but they didn’t have the mindset to pursue them.

Adam is telling David about developing an engine that Adam describes as a perpetual motion machine if you can get it going at a certain level.

BB brings the coaches at North Hollywood who didn’t step in for their players, Adam is now defending his coaches and explaining how he even left his recruitment letters out for his dad to see but they were never brought up.

Adam says “guess who didn’t want to do anything” while describing his dad and his clear sign he didn’t care enough about his son’s future to spend a couple hundred bucks and a couple weekends touring schools.

Adam says that statistically he should be living in poverty without insurance, his dad’s estimate on the relative value of spending/investing time and money into raising kids would have paid off 9 times out of 10, Adam is the exception and now things are different but it’s too late.

David blames Adam’s mother for not getting his dad to take action, he’s not taking into account their divorce fairly early into Adam’s life and his mother’s marijuana/ideological induced depression that she’s since apologized for and admitted to, re: Adam’s breakthrough with his mom ACS #1453.

Adam is now describing the reaction of Lotzi when his sister ran away and nobody was out searching for her, he’s singing the praises of traditional Jewish family structures and wraps up the call, Gina’s reactions from this tangent are all pretty solid.

Adam is now doing a live read for TastingRoom.com

Adam brings up Jimmy Fallon and Kevin shares a different bit of wisdom about laughs and success in comedy as being like a drug.

Adam talks about the gift Kevin shares with Jimmy, Kevin’s “The Voices” response has an excellent delivery.

Adam asks if we should praise people for a sense of humor, does it need to come from a sad place.

Adam asks about having a comedic ear and getting into comedy from that avenue, Adam brings up drummers who tell the stereotypical “banging on pots and pans” story of their origins in music/percussion.
