Adam opens the show with a mandate to get it on and an ‘Amazon Prime’ pitch, Matt Atchity is joining them and singing the praises of Rosario Dawson’s hotness, BB plays the Gary clip as #TopDrop again.

Matt tells Adam “don’t be scared” and Adam tells him to tell that to his dork, Adam is joking about the conversation Rosario would have with him in her mouth.

Adam is adding her to the list with Sandra Bernhard and how he will refuse to be on their BJ calendars, but is open to the anal opportunities.

 

Adam is talking to Matt about ‘Furious 7’ and says there are only so many times Diesel can crash and survive, Matt talks about the fear of something happening to Paul during the movie.

Adam is bringing up an episode of ‘Vegas’ and how cars would always explode at the bottom of cliffs, he says in real life cars don’t burst into fireballs like that.

Adam says they stopped the fireballs in this movie, Adam is back to the episode of ‘Vegas’ he saw as a kid.

Adam explains how his wife saw the documentary and then recognized Paul’s cars in the shop that’s she seen tons of times, Adam jokes about her now being interested in it.

 

Adam talks about the thing that pisses woman off, where men get more attractive with age and women seem to hit a wall.

Gina has a funny callback to exploding in midair and they’re all dreaming over the beauty of Paul Neman.

 

Adam brings up a conversation with the people at Cremo.

Adam is talking about his love for the Strap and straight razor, Adam says he went to place where the guy put a cartridge over a straight edge razor.

Adam is lamenting the California law that prohibits a straight shave, Adam says he thought this was the “let your freak flag fly” place and further laments the legislation surrounding shaving.

Adam says that this should be the freest place, dogs and smoking on beaches, hot shaves etc.

Adam is joking about BB’s tale of a hot shave in Italy, as if he flew all the way there just for a shave after presuming he meant some type of little Italy.

Adam jokes about Los Angeles getting to work on the legislation regarding hot shaves, which effects less than 1 percent of the population, before working on the “school to prison pipeline” and now BB jumps in and forces Adam into a live read.

1st Caller Zoltan (sigh) he says he lost respect for Mark after hearing him on the Adam and Drew Show, Adam is now explaining how someone like Mark is needed to step up and defend even people like Scott Peterson.

Zoltan is now getting to the case where Mark discussed getting a woman off for a fairly heinous crime, Adam is commenting on his accountant and how he would be gleeful if he found a way to save Adam some money.

Adam jokes about being killed by the state of California when it comes to taxes.

 

Adam is now in defense of our legal system and the need for an advocate especially for the people who are seemingly reprehensible, Adam is now commenting on all the good that Mark does and his tax revenue generation.

Adam is commenting on how people like to overlook all of the good someone does and reduce them to a single attribute of their profession or comment they made.

Adam has a “kicking a puppy” example and jokes about everyone lining up with Bill Cosby, hilarious twist.

 

Adam doesn’t think there are top high level professions where there aren’t some questionable moments on your life’s report card.

 

2nd Caller AJ, he’s got a trip to England scheduled for May 4th and wants some travel tips as he’s never flown before.

Adam is telling him to just use drugs and booze and skip the positive visualizations, Adam talks about his late stage flying similar to AJ.

Adam is sharing his story as BB peppers AJ with even more questions, Adam is joking about emotional support nutria, a giant rat like creature he uses for coalmining himself.

 

Gina recommends Klonopin and says “Planes want to stay in the air” something a pilot told her, Adam tells AJ to drug and crate himself.

Adam describes his attempt to juke out Chris and Ray, Gina asks if one ever gets over that and Adam lists off some various other horrible events and says he lived a fairly tortured life.

 

Adam asks if the guy comes to his house or if they do it in neutral place, Matt wants to know if this payment is under the table like the job you’re giving.

Adam says 100k, he says he makes good money and he thinks he could pull this off in 8-12 minutes, he doesn’t want to be one of these Hollywood pussies.

Adam is talking about this amount of cash relative to a book advance, Adam says that it’s the atheists guide to the universe, 100k by tonight for 10min of dick sucking, he’s done much more for a lot less.

1st Movie ‘Flight of the Phoenix’ (2004)

Adam liked this movie and loves this trapped in the dessert stuff, BB has never heard of this movie nor the original version from 1965.

Adam says there wasn’t that much to hate, Gina asks some more questions and Adam guesses 61, BB says 40 and Gina goes with 38.

Adam is surprised the score is so low. Matt says the chemistry is very off in the movie and the performances don’t mesh up.

 

2nd Movie ‘The Faculty’ (1998)

Adam says he doesn’t like Robert Rodriguez movies typically, but he does like ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ and now they all weigh in.

Adam says 51, BB says 60 and Gina goes with 48.

BB praises the cast and talent involved.

 

3rd Movie ‘Sling Blade’ (1996)

Adam is updated that Lucas Black was the kid in this movie and the star of Tokyo Drift, Adam comments on him appearing in the latest film, but he doesn’t seem to be aware the scene was an extension of the end of Tokyo Drift so he was now 32 playing 18, trying to cap a scene he filmed a decade ago.

Adam does comment on his now even bigger arms, Adam says the critics got to love this one and recalls the short film version with Molly Ringwald.

Adam goes with 96, BB 92 and Gina with 80.

4th Movie ‘The Expendables’ (2010)

Adam says this movie has everything you want in this type of movie and wishes film critics could review things based on how they deliver on the promise of their genre.

Adam goes with 31, BB says 75 and Gina says 46.

Matt explains how the 2nd movie did better with the critics.

 

5th Movie ‘Tombstone’ (1993)

Adam is saying the only thing he has to remember his dad is the photo of him wearing bellbottoms but Caelan gets to see his dad kicking ass on film like in this movie, BB brings up Michael Biehn’s role in the movie and Adam mocks that photo of his dad wearing the hip clothes he bought after separating from Adam’s mom.

Matt has some details about the project and quotes ‘The Eastwood Rule’ and now Adam is mocking the union policies and how they’re saving us from floating off into the ocean.

Adam brings up the straight edge razors and comparing them to the rules about crediting people in film productions.

 

Adam says 89, BB says 79 and Gina guesses 83.

Adam thinks this is the critics being snobs again, everyone is now weighing in.

They’re back from break with Kevin Hench returning to the ACS, Adam responds to the great moment in local news.

Adam plugs Kevin’s shows ‘Cristela’ and ‘Last Man Standing’ and Adam immediately talks about Kevin’s glasses, his frames.

Adam says he wasn’t taken seriously before he changed up his look, he told him anything but the cool gold metal framed ones from the 90’s.

 

Kevin confirms Adam’s theory and jokes about making two movies with a guy to find out he would blow a guy for 2% of his annual income. Hilarious.

Adam jokes about the rich getting richer, Adam offers to drop a digit for an extra 5k and says he does his dudes the same ala carte way they sell sports cars.

Kevin is sharing a funny menu list from a brothel on the outskirts of Vegas, Adam and the gang laugh at the 40$ “touch pussy.”

 

Adam brings up ‘Road Hard’ and how he co-directed the movie and co-wrote it.

Adam is now describing the intent of the film very briefly, Kevin says he’s looking forward to their 3rd movie and how people might not go up with their voices when complimenting the 3rd one.

Kevin talks about their unpaid sponsor of sorts ‘Good Neighbors’ where they wrote most of the film.

 

Kevin is commenting on people telling him which movie they prefer, this or ‘The Hammer’ and how you don’t need to tell him.

Kevin is going over their intense filming schedule and how he was reading books before filming to learn how to direct this properly.

Kevin comments on some advice he read from Sidney Lumet.

 

Adam talks about the real limitation of a low budget and how time is the ultimate factor, he cites how you can get David Koechner to come out to his house to shoot a scene or two but good luck getting 2 weeks of rehearsals and table reads.

Adam is saying they did one table read, Kevin explains how they used the read to cast some of the roles.

BB asks who they had cast from the get-go, Kevin is sharing how they case the picture and wrote with most of the actors in mind.

 

Kevin talks about how the magic comes from last minute changes, he tells them about a scene with House from ‘The Hammer’ that turned out even better due to their limitations.

Adam says the woman running the truck doesn’t know she was in a movie even till this day, Kevin is bringing up an anecdote from the production that led to Larry wearing different wigs throughout the production.

Adam made lemonade out of those lemons, Adam says you can do better than breaking even by steering into a slide like that.

 

Adam and Kevin are talking about DAG and his lack of preparation that led to a more natural scene, Adam comments on Phil Rosenthal knowing more of DAG’s lines than he knew.

Adam is commenting on the different lessons one can learn about the differences among Jewish guys and black guys from that tidbit.

Kevin explains how they needed Adam’s mind to stop running to at least get some material to use, Adam is generating more content and ideas than the audience can keep up with.

 

Kevin shares with how this movie was a nice refresher for him due to his job/job working on the network sitcoms and he shares his pride with the final product.

Kevin shares the sense of gratitude he has for Adam’s fans who paid for Adam and him to go to film school in addition to make this movie, they paid the bill for Adam and Kevin to learn along the way.

Adam is talking about the benefit of having a super bright guy like Kevin working with you in the edit bay.

BB suggest maybe the girlfriend was a bitch and deserved the comments, Adam talks about the time when Marilyn Manson brought him some Absinthe, Kevin says he was there, that must be from the comedy central show?

Adam, asks if he makes music anymore and asks if he was “our Yoko Ono” and it was all for show, theater.

 

2nd Story is on the death of James Best, who played Roscoe on ‘The Dukes of Hazard’ and Adam is joking about the bygone era of huge ratings shares for crappy shows.

Kevin shares an anecdote about Tim Allen and the ratings for ‘Home Improvement’ vs his current series ‘Last Man Standing’ and Adam jokes about the characters on ‘Dukes’ names ‘Cooter’ and ‘Enos’ and how their names are close to vagina and anus.

 

3rd Story is on a new study that says the happiest time of a man’s life is 37, Gina reads the reasoning for this.

Adam is trying to think about what’s nice, he says new is nice.

Going from no success to sudden success it feels good, Adam compares it to a new nice car and how it’s worn in after some time and no longer a special treat.

 

Kevin brings up Nancy Sinatra and hints at the old adage about there being a man tired of fucking every super model on earth.

Adam is now commenting on Paul Newman and Frank Sinatra and their respective longevity on earth, he cites how Paul was busting his ass to stay healthy while Frank was whoring and drinking.

Adam comments on doing the math and he discovered that Paul got one year more on earth.

 

Adam is commenting on Agnes Moorhead and other beauties of a bygone era, he says Ava Gardner holds up to today’s standards.

Adam is commenting on documentaries that leave out the whole story, he says there was a part in the documentary about Frank Jr. being kidnapped.

Adam comments on the cops putting Frank Jr. in the trunk of the squad car, Adam wants to know why the trunk after the guy had just been kept in a trunk, Kevin jokes about them having just cleaned the backseat after a Perp was in there.

 

Adam says this is why he can’t watch anything and get any level of enjoyment, he is now further theorizing on this and Kevin is peppering in some possible explanations.

Gary is telling them it was an attempt to avoid a public scene, Adam is trying to process what happened and they move on.

 

4th Story is on Don McLean selling his original notes for the song ‘American Pie’ as Adam and Kevin correct Gina’s pronunciation of McLean and Adam says in the pantheon of remakes he doesn’t hate Madonna’s version of this one.

Adam is talking about Cat Stevens covering Sam Cooke and now Kevin is sharing his appreciation for Frank Sinatra after seeing this documentary Adam is talking about.

Adam is now sharing how Frank increased the blowhardy preamble between songs to save his voice, Adam is telling Gary to look for send in the clowns and he says he has a version of it and describes the insanely blowhardy intro.

 

Gary is now playing it, Adam is laying in some light commentary about loving to place blame, good stuff.

Adam is further exploring his idea of Frank padding out his concerts with talking.
