Duncan MacMillan and Scott Carney

[powerpress]

Show Summary

As the show opens up, the guys talk about the relationship between fear and statistics, and signs that you are a ‘soft’ person. Adam then rants about people who don’t wipe their feet, and the new world of having to accept bad behavior. Duncan MacMillan calls in next, and Adam chats with him about ‘Every Brilliant Thing’. The guys discuss how hard it is for men to share their feelings, suicide statistics, and how to write about a painful topic when you haven’t experienced it yourself. Later, Adam takes calls about how his comedy career progressed, and life in Germany. Before the break, the guys listen to a hilarious listener-submitted song.

Scott Carney is in studio next, and Adam asks him his thoughts on whether too much comfort impacts us biologically. They also talk about the benefits of a cold-water bath, and how technology is outpacing our own natural developments. Scott then talks about the importance of pushing yourself outside comfort levels, and how your body reacts to diet and exercise. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about the nutritional side of how to make the most of what your body will naturally do for you.
