David Coverdale and Franklin Leonard

[powerpress]

Show Summary

Adam opens the show talking about how much he enjoys Deep Purple. The guys then go through the various versions of the song ‘Here I Go Again’, and soon after, listen to another rant mash-up. Adam also talks about something he saw today that he’d never seen before, and takes a call from David Coverdale. The guys chat about some of Adam’s favorite songs, David’s influences, and his rise to fame. Adam then talks to a professional organizer about why forming new habits takes so long, and speaks to another fan about American muscle cars.

Franklin Leonard is in next, and Adam talks with him about what The Blacklist actually is. Franklin explains the annual list of unsigned screenwriters, and the incredible amount of success that has been generated from those scripts once they get made into films. Franklin then chats about his new table read podcast, and what distinguishes a good reader who can find fresh talent. Gina then starts the news with stories about an awkward interview with Robert Downey Jr., and a blind long snapper. Later, Adam recalls the time he interviewed Jean-Claude Van Damme, and the guys chat about People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman of 2015, and coloring books for adults. As the show wraps up, they discuss Pacquiao’s new entrance music and an awkward accidental Tinder hookup between siblings.
