Show Summary

Adam points out that Trump’s hair is part of his identity, and the guys discuss stars that purposefully disguise themselves as opposed to going out as they’re normally portrayed. The group also talks about Bloomberg’s donation to Planned Parenthood, and Adam breaks down the nation’s mixed message about gambling.
Also in the news, Adam Sandler is going to be writing a new film based on the board game Candyland. Alison also mentions some exciting news about friends of the show Patton Oswalt, and Bryan Cranston, both of whom have exciting new TV opportunities. After other stories about Jay Leno and Christina Aguilera, the show wraps up with a hilarious round of This Week in Rage.

Given the upcoming “Battleship” film, I was joking with my wife last week about a Candy Land movie. With Sandler’s involvement, we can only hope it holds it’s own against his other cinematic classics such as Bucky Larson, Jack and Jill, or Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.

I love how Adam is more interested in the Taboo 2 guitarist than he is in 97% of the guests booked on the show.
You could actually hear the joy in his voice when he learned the guitarist’s own mom sang backup on “Gotta Get It On”.

Dude I love the podcasts, but it’s getting to a point where it’s almost painful to listen to. For the love of god please tell Bryan to cut out the “WHO!?!?” drops any time you mention ANY name. On second though, just take the drops out completely. I would pay for the podcast daily if you could cut out his stupid annoying bullshit.

If you watch the video of Christina Aguilera, she enters the stage feeling uncomfortable in the first place, visibly wiping her legs both against one another and with her hands. This behavior reminds me of a time when I was about 4 or 5 years old, hiking a trail through the woods with my dad, and having to pee worse than I’ve ever had to in my entire life. No bathrooms for half a mile, and with a man who never makes bathroom stops, even on five hour drives. I remember that day making the same embarrassed motions as Christina is here.
My conclusion is this: She was on stage next, had to go really bad, and her ol’ pee dam lost a few bricks during childbirth. That, paired with the fact that she probably did in fact use a thick, most likely metallic bronzing cream that day, resulted in the unfortunate situation.
I suspect, had Christina been hiking in the woods at that moment rather than singing at Etta James’ funeral, she would have found a nice, private Laurel shrub and relieved herself, and then wiped the evidence away with some very absorbent moss.
YES! Finally, Adam brings This Week in Rage to the show.

This is one of the funniest shows I have heard in a long time. Dana Gould is always great and this one is hilarious from start to finish. Especially when they talked to the musician from the Taboo 2 soundtrack, some great jokes from Adam and Dana. I was in tears. Please make Dana Gould a weekly guest.

Same shirt theory:
Adam comes into the studio early every day to help with the renovation. The t-shirt he wears while working inevitably gets a bit sweaty and dusty. The long sleeve plaid shirt you see him wearing is a shirt he keeps at the studio.
He has this plaid shirt there to throw on over top the t-shirt he was working in. He wears this during the podcast to hide the pit stains and dust particles that he may have gotten from his participation in the renovation.
