Show Summary
As the show opens up, Adam talks about his insane trip to Phoenix, including travel delays, miscommunications with Mike August, and an incredible show with Dennis Prager in front of 2,000 fans. Along the way, Adam complains about adult males who wear inappropriate shoes, and takes a fan phone call about getting people to stop letting their dogs crap on his lawn. Later, Adam talks about getting Natalia into the Oscars. Next up, Adam chats with Mr. Skin about this year’s Anatomy Awards, and Adam and Shek present today’s ‘Good Sports’.
David Wain is in studio next, and Adam compliments him on a great job directing ‘A Futile and Stupid Gesture’. They also talk about the history of National Lampooon’s Doug Kenny, why Adam loves the sketch show ‘The State’, and his favorite moments from Animal House. Gina then begins the news talking about parts of the moon having 4G service. Other news stories include Dick’s Sporting Goods stopping sales of assault-style weapon, unnecessary government spending, and a new book about the behind the scenes of ‘The Bachelor’. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about Johnny Walker’s new line of scotch for women, a new dating app that connects people who have a specific shared passion, and a survey about eating snacks in secret.
