THE ADAM CAROLLA ENTERTAINMENT BROADCASTING NETWORK
Adam Carolla’s podcast business is growing a lot taller.
John Salley and Kevin Hench are teaming up to host a new sports themed podcast called “SportsCast with Spider and The Henchman” for Adam Carolla’s ACE Broadcasting Network.
“Every other sports show says ‘no holds barred,’ but as soon as you say something remotely provocative they censor you. We don’t have a dump button” says Adam Carolla.
“SportsCast with Spider and The Henchman” will be the second addition to the ACE Broadcasting Network since Carolla added “CarCast” in June 2009.
According to Salley, “SportsCast with Spider and The Henchman” is going to be a passionate, truthful, funny, smart, and most importantly, have the perspective coming from a professional athlete.”
Kevin Hench adds, “This will be a free-flowing stream of semi-consciousness that will give us a forum to say things for which we can later apologize.”
John Salley, a television personality and 4-Time NBA Champion, recently finished an eight year run on Fox Sports Net’s “Best Damn Sports Show, Period” as well as stints on BET’s “Ballerz” and NBC’s “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.” In 2005, Salley was the morning host on 100.3 The Beat in Los Angeles.
Kevin Hench, a television personality, columnist for Fox Sports, The Huffington Post, and screenwriter, has worked with Carolla since “The Man Show” on Comedy Central. Additionally, Hench and Carolla co-wrote and produced the independent feature “The Hammer” which was released in 2008.
Donny Misraje, Executive Producer for ACE Broadcasting Network will produce “Spider and The Henchman” along with producer Kevin Parker (MTV’s “Wild’N Out”).
