The show opens with Lynette and Stefanie discussing older women who keep the tradition of slutty Halloween costumes going way too long. Stefanie also wonders the proper way to explain to your kids that their costume is inappropriate without having to discuss the sexual nature behind it. The girls then talk about their kids’ costumes from the last couple years, and Lynette recalls her past of being young and single during Halloween time.

Next up, the girls talk about kids’ books that freak them out. Both twins are into different types of books, and both Lynette and Stefanie have to sometimes monitor what the kids want to read. They also talk about tricking your kids into thinking the story is shorter than it is, and when kids and parents differ on what makes for a good story. Later, there’s some reality TV talk about the drama on Jersey Shore.

In the last part of the show, the girls answer your Twitter questions. They talk about lame school policies for having to invite the entire class to your kid’s birthday, and they also talk about what makes for a successful sleep over party. As the show wraps up, the girls discuss ‘how old is too old to have babies,’ and Lynette shares stories about coping with Adam’s complaints.
